Bittorrent Alternatives?

Hello anons. I’ve read a lot of complaints in this board about bittorrent recently, so I was wondering: Are there better alternatives to bittorrent on Windows? Thanks.

As in... the client made by BitTorrent Inc?

Obviously. Install qBittorrent or BiglyBT for instance.

The protocol itself is fine - it's just some burgers, brits and frenchies getting buttfucked by their ISPs.

You mean the official BitTorrent client, which is just a rebranded version of uTorrent?
Since that's just a rebranded uTorrent 3.x, yes it's crap since it went to shit after Bittorrent Inc. bought uTorrent and covered it with ads trying to make money. Use uTorrent 2.2.1 since that's the god-tier version before it was turned to shit.

QBittorent is the best

>use outdated software with known vulnerabilities
the state of this board

Why are you lying on an anonymous message board?

Are you fucking retarded? Throuout the years 2.2.1 has shown to have several vulnerabilities and within the last year has had one show up that it can have binary pushed to it from a bad seed source and executed. The client is banned on most private sites as well and has been for years.
It hasn't really been recommended to use for like 5 years.

Why are you lying on an anonymous message board? Don't you know the point of an anonymous message board is that you can detach from anyone's attacks on your ego and simply state the truth? Why have you attached your ego to a competing piece of software to the point where you have to make shit up about others?
That just seems really odd to me.
Also, if you're going to attach your identity to something, why would you pick something that's crap? Are you just trying to see how well you can lie to yourself?

These effect 2.2.1 along with the 3.0 series, but the 3.0 series got patched, 2.2 did not.

These are just the most recent ones

No it didn't. uTorrent 2.2.1 doesn't have the RPC endpoints.
You really don't belong on a technology board if you couldn't figure this out for yourself.

There is not a single reason to continue using utorrent when there are countless superior alternatives

Except for the minor fact that there are no equals, never mind superiors.

Yeah, it does.
You can even test the vulnerabilities here you tard

>"trigger crash
>nothing happens
>trigger device transfer
>nothing happens
All you can do is request pairing which brings up a popup. That's not a vulnerability.

You really don't belong on a technology board, so why exactly are you here?
