I was doing this too using rclone too and at 3TB google just locked me out of my account and deleted my files

Something like 95% of these storage businesses will be gone in five years, eaten by the big three. Even Dropbox will likely be gone, losing cash like it is going out of style in a very commoditized business.

And that is what happens when you no longer own your data. They are likely selling any personal info now and you better hope you weren't doing anything productive like wrting a book, their terms now make them owners.
