heavy requires tracking and positioning
two weapons with slow arced projectiles and limited range and delayed controlled detonation for one of them is far more complex and hard to use than any other class' stock arsenal

This. Being a medic main is suffering sometimes.
Delayed controlled detonation isn't an issue considering the time til detonation starts counting the moment you shoot the sticky, you're able to detonate it by the time it's anywhere close to your target. Pill and sticky spam is very easy, stickies especially don't require as much skill as hitscan because of splash damage, you can just spam your explosives all over the enemy and splash your way through.
