this reminds me of gondola, for some reason
i find this one pretty comfy.
stupid racist posting in a pure thread
but its a comfy pic, so i don't really see the problem.
I have a bit hangover right now. It feels good and fresh though. This is a good and gentle hangover.
Hey comfy.
How often do you revisit old games you played in the past?
I have a few games that i frequently go back to every now and again.
Currently playing thief since i remember having seen my uncle play it once and never knew the name of it until recently, also playing theme hospital.
Happens in waves
Keep switching back and forth once in while
Play newer shit, then go to early 2000 classics, then I'll hit up my dosbox once in a while
I don't own an awful lot of games post 2010 in the first place tho
I don't really play video games anymore, or at all much.
I still occasionally go back to old Nintendo games when old friends come round to visit.
Its good nostalgia
I replay machinarium a lot, that game is comfy, has great music and stuff, also cute robot gf
Goddamnit FK you need a real gf and soon
Does PC count? I sometimes fire up Quake. The other "personal tester" is Raiden X in hard mode. That's a game not for mommy's boys.
I don't care a shit about high end graphics, fancy bling skins or customization whatnot. High intensity gameplay experience is what I want.
Same here dude.
I'll usually be playing pretty modern games and then when i get sorta bored of those i get a hankering for some old game i remember.
Will often also try old games i never tried before, thinking of giving old schoold xcom or deus ex a shot.
I don't really consider that old but i guess it counts, it's almost 10yrs after all.
Ofc pc counts.
>crazy monkey games
Based
Oh yeah me too. I started the original Deus Ex last year after being pestered by a friend the entire past decade.
Definitely worth it, it still holds up. Only thing it needs is a fan patch to get it going
Oh, yes old stuff, i replay the neverhood sometime, still point and click adventure type of game
I usually do a bit of research before starting an old game like that, find out if there's any mods or patches that help make it a bit more modern or add good content.
I hear it may even be more relevant now than when it first came out.
Don't remember who i saw saying that but i guess I'll see when i eventually try it.
So you love point and click games?
Ever tried sanitarium?
Hear it's great but haven't tried it yet myself.
Might be good to check it out if you haven't.
Oh yeah now that you mention it
I remember slapping my face at all the 2016-2018 references the game seemed to be making
I still have a whole bunch of point and clicks in my GoG backlog desu
One of my favorite genres, nowadays I prefer sitting back and taking in a good story
Fallout 1 and 2 have a few decent fan made patches, and I think Daggerfall runs on new PCs too, it's free nowadays
been meaning to play it for a while
Guess it must be the genius level writing the game has.
I look forward to playing it.
Yeah, point and click games often have nice stories, kinda have to since that's most of the appeal, can't just let the gameplay carry the whole game.
Already played fallout 1 & 2 and had fun with them.
Would like to check out daggerfall someday.
Been meaning to play morrowind and replay oblivion, I'll probably try daggerfall afterwards.
Don't think I'll try arena though, hear it's just a worse daggerfall.
Hey whats up comfy
Looks like im going back to work now
Hey.
Goodbye, nice seeing you comfy potato.
Yeah, hopefully a thread will be up when im finished

Fugg, the other images are over the limit.
Wholesome~
Sometimes I rewatch Aria. Truly the comfiest anime ever.
sup gang
Still at work here
Hey Regin.
Working on that next paper?
What do you do?
Hey Niceway. Not right now, I'm going to apply for some jobs first. I have to do some research for the next issue so I'll probably stick around for a while tonight
Based. A Gondola-tier /comfy/ right there.
There's a lot to watch in Aria franchise too, may I add.

How's it going? What's your job description?
here is a comfy pic
Im an electrician, currently trying to get the main cable to the fuseboard
Ah, right! How long until you're done today?
Probably an hour
Konichiwa gozaimasu kokochiyoi
I'm trying to learn Japanese on a whim. It's rather interesting and pretty fun. Finding out there's 2136 Kanji was a pretty big kick in the nuts though. I'm using Michel Thomas to learn phrases and how to speak it, while using DJT Kana to learn Hiragana and Katana, once I get a good grasp on Kana I'm probably gonna use Duolingo to help with learning Vocab. I don't know what I'm gonna do about Kanji though.
I forgot my mandatory gondola
You should try Anki for learning kanji, although it can be quite relentless. For more information, go to daily japanese thread on /jp/.
Nearly done
Thanks, I'll check both of those out, I'm sort of following the guide from djtguide.neocities.org
Is it armored cable? Some of the special stiffy stuff can be hard to lead to it's place. Plus those other conditions and requirements.
I work in the industrial services department in my company. I have all sorts of certificates (I travel a lot in different countries), and working as an electrician is sometimes required.
Fuck, missed that pic.
Got it.
Yeah I think there is armored cable underneath
Found this comfy beat last night

Try Tagaini Jisho. It's yet another good helper.
Learning Japanese is my hobby I will never master. It's like larping to me. I won't lie.
Based on your pic it would feel like that.
Wow, thanks again. I'll probably use this tons
Do you work in an area prone to small earthquakes?
Yeah, it's good. What more, it's genuinely proof read and peer-reviewed softa.
So are you just learning to read, or are you going to learn how to speak it too? Japanese people sometimes use contractions when they speak that can be a bit hard to understand.
I'm going to learn both, Michel Thomas is pure audio so I'm going to use that to speak it, and it will also help teach me vocab since it's really easy to figure out what Hiragana make what sound.
Never played the elder scrolls games, but daggerfall sounds amazing
just hearing about the climb skill and being allowed to climb anything you want
like literally everything
ᵉᵛᵉʳʸ ᵇᵘᶦᶫᵈᶦᶰᵍ ʰᵃˢ ᵃ ˢᵘˢᵖᶦᶜᶦᵒᵘˢ ᵗᵒᵖ ᵉᶰᵗʳᵃᶜᵉ
are the others worth?
No I dont
Visit Norway first. Then install those games.
It's worth it.
Please don't mind my questioṇ. Poster flags often don't matter here at Jow Forums. :)
Nice. Looks like a good course. You're using Duolingo too, yeah?
Nah, its alright mate. Dont mind answering questions
Somewhat, I've heard their Japanese course is pretty trash, I'll probably only use it to help with Vocab
Post melancholic music like this pleas

Does this count?

Have you thought about Lang-8? In my experience one of the top resources. I honed my Swedish and German there. No matter how much I blushed time to time, it was definitely worth it.
www.lang-8.com
You should check out Memrise, then. I haven't tried their Japanese course, but both the Russian and the Chinese course were very helpful and easy to follow. Didn't get far into the Korean one but that looked good too. Some of the Russian one was kinda corny, though, but very helpful still.
Thanks both of you, I'll certainly check these out
Oh yeah they're great if you like exploring and sidequesting.
Oblivions one of my favorite games, though it has got a big butterface problem...
Everything else looks great though and some of the sidequests are just marvelous, best in the elder scrolls imo.
Also has one of the greatest expansions ever, the shivering isles are so much fun to explore and interact with.
Skyrim is a bit overrated imo but it's still alright, has a bunch of mods that are fun to play with and it's fun to dragon shout at random people.
Morrowind's a bit dated, has little voice acting and that awful rng hitting system.
Also slow travel times and no fast travel make it a bit of a slog.
The atmosphere is great though, best of all the other base games, only surpassed by the shivering isles.
>Visit Norway first.
Can i ask why?
You're not trying to set us up or something are you?
How many languages do you know?
Seems like you try a lot of those courses.
Good, but I personally prefer strings over the piano, they have more emotional power in my opinion
Sounds good to me, might give them a go
I really enjoyed Fallout 1 and 2 but I never enjoyed the bethesda ones very much
or at least not for the same reason
I'll try oblivion maybe
Seriously I still emphasize the lang-8. The situation certainly puts you in an awkward position, but it is just the Situation. Never the people there, in my experience.
You'll learn directly from native speakers. That's the deal with that place. A totally Up-to-you -place.
Unfortunately they have new sign-ups suspended, so I'll have to check back on it later.
I'm currently doing a couple courses on Memrise, and it's pretty fun.
>Can i ask why?
You can. :DDD
You also may. :)
That game franchise is solely based on the purity and scenery of Nordic nations. in other words, you there were set up before you even knew it.
That's it.
Fragment of a song
Hey Manx, long time no see
Hope you have fun!
Me inglish am gudt.
I see.
Skyrim especially and i guess i can see the inspiration in oblivion.
Don't really see it in morrowind though.

Gooodnight comfy~
Night Norway, have a good one.
Good night Nordbro.
cya tomorrow
Sorry about the late response. I don't really know that many languages. I used to study Mandarin in university but i failed life lole and dropped out. I learnt a lot of Russian on my own as well, but languages don't stick unless you hear it and practice it regularly.
Good night Niceway, see you around!
Oh man, I still have 12 Karhu beers with me
>0.33 liter cans, 4,6% ethanol per volume
What are you guys drinking today?
