Unbelievable. So this is a 7a28-7020 which is horologically interesting and also Bond wore one in A View to a Kill. And as you can see the listing was very poorly described, doesn't even have the model number anywhere and there was no bids, I was waiting to buy it for hopefully fairly cheap. But no, the fucker relisted it as a buy it now for £100 and I missed it. It's easily worth £400+, so obviously the seller was oblivious to what he was selling. I'm so mad, these watches hardly ever appear for sale, and when they do they're very well described so they attract a lot of interest.

A week later I had the opportunity to start learning with a teacher.

As I got back into watches I started looking for 44+mm watches as I felt the 42mm SKX looked kinda small on me. I thought about getting a moon watch but they are only 44mm. So I found the SSG001 which is fucking 48mm and totally preposterous. I didn't know if I would like it and thought it would be too big but I liked the semi classic chrono looks. So I bought one on eBay used for $240. ($750msrp) which was a good deal at the time IMO. I saw new ones selling for 600 on eBay. So the band did not fit and I was on the lookout via saved eBay search for new links. Then all of a sudden I found out Macy's was doing a close out on them for $299 and was having a 15% off sale on top of that. So I bought 6 of them on a whim. I knew they were good watches, maybe just a touch above mall watch grade. I honestly think they were a bit out of place at macy's and thats why they were selling them. So I bought 6, for $267 each delivered. So far I have sold 2 of them for $550 each on eBay. and I am going to sell 3 more as new, one as used and steal links from the used one for my personal watch. So I figure I am going to come out of this with a free SSG001 and pocket about $900-$1100.
I know flipping watches is frowned upon here but I could not resist this little scheme. I of course am going to spend anything I make on furthering my solar watch collection and buying a nice girl watch for my nubile gf
