I found it so unfunny that I was wondering whether it was supposed to be a comedy at all.
Then I tried figuring out whether it was supposed to be dramatic, but I found it bland and uninteresting.
I just found it cringy and a pain to watch.

I agree, the actor for the main character is pretty good.
