For most window decorations you can decrease the size here to tiny and it'll make them smaller overall and also you can reduce the text size in the font settings of the window title to aid in shrinkage.

I mean, the part that it looks like shit is totally subjective, but of course it provides a lot extra functionalities.
KDE has so many options that it overwhelms new users.

I like Budgie a lot, but it still has a lot of rough edges, and Ikey already said that he's not gonna add new stuff to it before the launch of Budgie 11 (with a QT core).
Electron applications having two icons on the panel when you pinned them was one of the things that rustled my jimmies.
