Hello Jow Forums ! I see we like linux and gaming here, so let's try SteamOS shall we ?
>type "steamos" in google
>click on the first link
>it's a random-looking page of steam's website, could be just a page of their forum you wouldn't notice
Huh okay it's not really engaging but hey we are willingfull let's proceed !
>click on the download link
>Do you want to download this .zip file ?
Oh hey look it's a .zip file this means it will be light !
>1.9Go.zip

SteamOS is another in a long list of failed projects that valve started to avoid making hl3.
No one is using steamOS. Even Valve indirectly admitted it was a failure.
Gaming on linux (huurrrr gnu plus linnix) is dead, fuck, it has never lived. Why would I bother with shitty drivers and a non existent game library when I can just run windows in qemu and pass through a GPU and a USB 3.0 controller?

Ok friends 20 minutes have passed and I see you are enthusiasts so let's proceed !
Now we have to make a bootable USB drive !
>open the almighty Rufus
>select drive and .zip file
>start the format, it's real quick
See my friends our issues have ended because verything is working fine now and
>USB drive does not contain SteamOS at all because Rufus can't write .zip files to bootable drive.
...
I'll just spend 20 more minutes to look for a Rufus alternative or I will just create an ISO with some daemon tools I guess...
>MUH BOTNET
Grow up already.
>Rufus can't write .zip files to bootable drive.
inb4 retard OP didn't unzip the image from the zip archive
inb4 retard user just want to insult OP without even knowing what he is talking about.
So I know that if I want to open a ISO file I use Daemon tools lite, so it will be able to create an ISO from a folder, right ?
>Run Daemon tools, you can't create an ISO file with it
Ok Daemon tools failed us but I know that you can open ISO files with WinRAR so it will not fail us !
>Download WinRAR for this sole purpose (because of botnet I use 7zip) but it can't create ISO file either.
Alright alright no problem lads please don't leave !
>google "how to create ISO file"
>scroll to first wikiHow link
>they say to download InfraRecorder from ninite
O...Okay user it will be quick I promise !
>follow the wikiHow until the ISO file is created
Okay user I know we started this 2 hours ago but it will be done soon don't worry Linux is so much quickier to install compared to Windows teehee
Did... did you actually consider following or at least looking at the installation instructions at any point?
