Change GNOME login screen wallpaper

I want to put waifu on gnome login screen, googled how.

The glib2 is missing untility to pack the xml theme.
gdm3setup is old.

What is way in 2k18 to put waifus on GNOME login screen wallpaper?

//Pic is unrelated.

"lock screen" is not the same as the "login screen", baka yourself!

lock screen is displayed when I do log out of my user account or screensaver asks me for password.
Login Screen is when computer boots up and asks who you are.

How will people know you are running GNOME if you change the login wallpaper?

wtf i love gnome now

I have no idea what a "waifu" is or does sorry.

You must be very autist that you want to change a picture that you only see in 3 seconds.
Anyway, there are other autistic folk with autistic distro that will fit you well

Surprisingly doesn't actually work that well for some reason. The settings didn't stick for some reason. Otherwise KDE has been really solid for me.

Jesus Christ why the fuck is changing it that hard?

Wew, those guys are pretty biased toward the business end of things. Figures, since that's how they're making money. Still, you introduce presumably FOSS software into the wild, people are gonna wanna hack it and change things. Seems pretty unoriginal/uncreative to demand that every user use the same colors/layout/theme/design elements just to satisfy your desire for consistent branding and such. Lame.

Because linux is ass.

We here at gnome know that features are bloat.

I don't know user but I hope you'll find a way to transform your pc into a shine for your waifu

Hmmm
You'd think they'd at least make it a setting you can change. I've seen a lot of jokes about how you can't change anything and so on, but didn't think that this shit was actually true.

Recognizable Brand(TM) -> Investments -> MUNEY -> Well payed openings for professional DEVELOPERS and designers in the organization -> Linux on desktop may not be a frustrating pile of dogshit somewhat sooner ("Year of the linux desktop"(copyleft))

However, it's not like basement dwellers on Jow Forums know anything about the importance of more or less throwing MUNEY at things to get stuff done

see

I just tried it and it survived a restart
Im running tumbleweed

Mandatory picture to this thread!

I was on openSUSE Tumbleweed also, for some reason it didn't stick but then after trying a couple of times it started to work. I didn't even update in-between.

Because the OS ecosystem operates around many programs that do different things (with some exceptions). It makes interconnecting everything way more difficult.

Is this some package that not preinstalled? Or a joke from KDE user?

How to reach this menu? Do I need to hold start+select and press DPAD?

Thats KDE

That's sad.

Ok. Needed untility was provided by a glib2-devel package. I managed to set a lock screen image!
