If you type chrome://flags into the address bar it actually exposes a bunch of experimental/development stuff. But I wasn't able to find anything there either. I really hate how locked down mobile chrome is compared to a proper browser.

Got an s7 unlocked from Amazon that arrived today. Went and got the right sim card for it and when I restarted the phone I got a notification that says "Service Provider Update: device will restart to configure features supported by new sim card".
Only option is to press ok, but it takes forever to restart. It just says please wait across the screen but nothing happens. Any ideas?

It carries it away from the SoC, and no there isn't. The point is that a heatpipe on top of a tiny ass heatspreader is better than just a heatspreader without a heatpipe.
Carrying it away to do what? Heatpipes are supposed to carry heat away from the processor and into the heatsink where it can be radiated away by moving air through the fins. Sticking a heatpipe on top of the block and having it run fucking nowhere isn't going to do anything.

solid blocks like what you pictured are not a significant increase in surface area and I fail to understand why it would be placed on top of the fins instead of under them with fins running on top of the entire length unless it's meant to dissipate heat into the frame or something.
