Manipulating seems very good for the purpose. It's general enough to properly describe what google is doing and is does carry some malicious undertones.

Censorship, though, for your particular example, I don't think fits well, since you actually can find pages you're looking for if you use different queries. Loli stuff linked above, though, that's properly censored.

It literally does not matter what they think. The term is not derogatory because it insults people, it is derogatory because the one who uses it has the intent to insult. Anyone can observe and document which words are derogatory, but the intended target of derogatory language is much more likely to produce biased results.
