Sometimes my USB port takes a while to recognize the device, sometimes it fails and sometimes I have to manually go to Device Manager and scan for hardware changes.
Usually this doesn't matter to me but I plan on reinstalling Win7 using a USB.

If I boot the computer using the USB and it asks me the press any key to boot, will it have trouble recognizing the USB? Or will it forcibly to to detect the USB, like how it works using the scan for hardware changes?

I decided to root my Redmeme 4X by flashing TWRP and a superuser client. I unlocked the bootloader (OEM unlocking) but I still went to Mi Unlock. Did I even need to do that last step and can I just safely root the thing?

I'm having a strange issue with my monitor. I have a dual monitor set up and my left monitor doesn't turn on sometimes.

>next day when I go to turn them back on, left monitor flashes my desktop and then turns back off
>have to randomly fiddle with cables and unplug and switch things around until it decides to work again
>only happens after extended periods of being turned off (when I go to sleep)

>swapping which cable goes to each monitor doesn't change anything
>swapping monitors doesn't change anything, right still displays fine and left flashes then nothing

Both monitors are LG 27EA63 model. Graphics card is a 1080. I don't think it's a monitor or cable issue because of how its always the left monitor even after swapping. Is this a sign my graphics card is going bad?

I've got a 7990 that appears to have given up the ghost, but I'm not sure. It works fine up to a point: whenever something 3D loads or even after some time the screen goes black and the system seems to lock up.
