This thread is about the appreciation of horology, as well as the micro-engineering and materials engineering that are required to make a fine watch, clock, or other timepiece.
So this thing stopped several times yesterday. This watchmaker is going to make me lose my mind. I slapped a new battery in and it seems to be working for now.
Is that user that works on cosmotrons here? Do you know how I could source a generic sapphire crystal for this?
and it does not look as good in person as it does in pics, it's very light and cheap plastic feeling
William Reed
Like most casios no it is mostly plastic and cheap feeling but the price is right
Jayden Richardson
No it's not, but at that price point I can't really complain. Casio occupies the "perfect careless beater" slot for pretty much any type of watch. I personally like the looks of aq230 and I think it would work great as a watch for the office etc.
If anyone managed to fake the free sprung balance and micro-stella screws in a 3135 and have their fake deliver pic related kind of timing performance then they are actually more skilled than the watchmakers at Rolex and I'd prefer this fake over a real one.
The ISS observes UTC, I imagine astronauts also want to know either what time it is where they launched from, what time it is at mission control, or what time it is in their home country. What time it is on the ISS must be a strange concept when you're flying around the world once every 90 minutes.

Is the popularization of the terrorist watch in anonymous forums another attempt by the FBI at increasing more suspects?

>Is the popularization of the terrorist watch in anonymous forums another attempt by the FBI at increasing more suspects? yes
Too bad is just a fucking timer and not a whole computer. With today's tech we could have a diy computer on the wrist. But no, we have a jailbait piece of shit instead.
seems like a lot of work when you could just try to get used to the slight different appearance of the other one. post results if you do try some shit though

Jesus. Is that not yours then? Looks great.

Have a King Quartz with same bracelet design and no hair pull
Leo Rodriguez
Penis quartz bracelets are surprisingly hair tolerant. They tend to just sprout out through the gaps rather than get pinched.

This is the exact benis I bought. They were designed for hairless Japanese arms so I've yet to see how it will work for me. Thankfully my arms are relatively smooth.
The regular F-91W has to much different colors in my opinion.

>Where's the guy who completely fucked up his casio royale? Here. >If you read this, get a f-91w and try modding it next. I've already hydro modded an f-91w with high quality, zero kilometre, Italian Extra Virgin Olive Oil. It still works flawlessy at -0.3 s/d I don't wear it daily just because i already have a GW-M5610 that suits perfectly my needs. I bought the Royale just because I wanted something shiny and more feature packed than the a158
Julian Howard
>using organic oil gross
Matthew Turner
>using organic oil I didn't want to spend half the price of the watch itself to do the mod Also the green display looks neat
Cooper Davis
>talking to some hot piece of ass today >she couldn't keep her eyes off my watch >I will have a gf soon
