Anime in particular is a shitshow if you're outside the US/Region 1, there's simply no way to legally obtain stuff beyond buying blu-rays from Japan which is an actual monthly salary for 12 episodes.

Also those companies grow bigger and they in turn have even more of an interest in shutting down piracy sites.
