Sennheiser HD 25
Really good but I lost them. Clamping force slightly uncomfortable for long periods of time.

VSonic GR06
Not enough bass

Currently considering VSonic GR07 Bass, Shure SE215 or another pair of Sennheiser HD 25s. Any other suggestions would be great.

Idol trash here. What's your setup like, user?

I want better pads for my 4xx, any suggestions?
I've heard zmf are good but not sure which ones

w-what does that even mean

ZMF pads are great (they better be for how much they cost).

I'm not sure which would go on the 4xx, though that's probably easy enough to search for.

what are some good value headphones/iems for mostly trance music for under £50? i don't care about much else, just some shit i won't cry about if they break

So I just moded my zs6, good bye harshness.

Attached: IMG_20180418_150942379.jpg (4032x3024, 3.32M)

No idea why, it's one of the few flaws of it. Granted, nothing huge as it doesn't affect sound or comfort.

What’s the headphone to get for the man who already has the HD 600? I really like it, but sometimes I want something different. Is there even anything worth getting after the HD 600 or is it the peak?

something something hd800 stax something

Seriously though, the DT1990s are pretty good.

How many mw at 300 ohm do the hd600 need to get to max volume?
Im thinking about suggesting this to a friend but I want to make sure it can get the hd600 as loud as possible otherwise its not suited for this situation

Another day, another 6x0 victim.

>Surely there's some benefit
Nah, not really. It's "gamer" gear. A solution created for a problem that didn't exist. I've used three different pairs of stereo headphones in games before and have had no issues locating someone based just upon sound. Hell, generally those 5.1 headsets are worse.

He is deaf they are good

yikes

>not collecting the best series of headphones ever made

>buying things literally for the sake of memeing on /hpg/
Vidas, seriously. You're not kidding anyone.

I would never do such a thing.
HD660s is pretty good tho

Attached: current-headphones.jpg (1232x921, 819K)

>would never do such a thing
>shows two monoprice headphones
wat

Awful purchase decisions, Jesus.

you guys heard of this thing called returns

Yeah, you should do that with your entire collection.

Of course. But still, why? Seriously, TWO monoprice headphones when you already had a HE-500? you are doing things for meme, pretty much, no doubt. Even for memeing ONE monoprice headphone would have been enough, jesus. Why two?

He does everything the discord tells him to, which explains all the memes and shitty headphones.

Your envy is palpable considering that isn't even me.
Still need to spend more time with the hd660s but so far what I hear lines up with the review on diyaudio.
yes that was the joke. also thats not me

Attached: ceULngVbcJBs.jpg (500x333, 34K)

I'm envious of spending all my money down to the last dollar on FOTM discord memes? Poorfag, I ain't envious of shit.

what's the best headphone to have while consuming soy

>Still need to spend more time with the hd660s but so far what I hear lines up with the review on diyaudio.
diyaudio:
>When contemplating buying a HD650 or HD660S the ‘best’ bet may be to pay a bit more and get the HD660S. It is a slightly ‘better’ headphone in certain aspects but slightly ‘less’ in other aspects.
>Is it worth owning both ? I guess not, they do not differ enough.

>yes that was the joke. also thats not me
What? not you? the owning two monomeme part? but that's clearly your HE-500 and your DT990 on the picture.

like this!

Attached: IMG_0292.jpg (2268x3024, 963K)

do you fuck your dolls

Oh I'm not keeping both but I'm definitely taking the opportunity to compare them for a bit.
HE500 is the best headphone I own but most people find them uncomfortable, where as they are comfy for me. DT990 I bought forever ago for gayman.
havent been on the discord in a month, they had never suggested m1060 or hd660s to even one person while I was using it. So full of envy you're talking out of your ass!

So those two are so shit not even the discord recs them... just yikes

Adoracute.

dumb fucking purchases. you'll see the error of your ways, but only after you have wasted your money on garbage.

of course i do while consuming soy!

user they look great but can we push it on a lower price range? i don't feel like spending 200$ on them

ebay.com/itm/332453425993

he's going to need something to drive them, 250 ohm beyers need 25mw@250ohms out of the amp ideally.

tacstar pro 82 then

what where

ATH-AD700X

amazon.com/Philips-SHP9500S-Precision-Over-ear-Headphones/dp/B00ENMK1DW/ref=sr_1_3?ie=UTF8&qid=1524080844&sr=8-3&keywords=philips over-ear headphone

someone recommended me this ones but they are open back, is it really that different from a closed back ones?

also yes i don't have an amp just regular jack

Yes it is totally different. They, and all open backs including the dt880, are almost like speakers pointing at your ears. The noise outside of them isn't the same as inside but the music is completely audible.
If you want closed back just grab a creative aurvana live(gen 1) or a takstar pro 82.
I would skip the shp, if you want open back the dt880 is a great choice but it needs an amp.

you hear outside noise and the sound leaks to the outside so those in the same room with hear u

Well /hpg/ ?

Attached: 758YEkHo_400x400.png (400x400, 63K)

everything he buys is the best thing ever also that shit with the speakers was pretty scummy

okay then will discard open back for potential porn sounds leaking and having to explain my self

thx will check all options given

This, but also it doesn't sound like you're in a 1ft^3 room.

Semi Closed is the best for the average home user. (better bass than open, doesn't sound closed in)
Closed is good for noisy environments
Open is best for hi-fi but can have 'weak' bass as there is no pressure.

Aliexpress, the package came pretty beat up and managed to convince the seller to give me a half refund

Attached: IMG_20180416_144604_crop_691x691.jpg (691x691, 362K)

He's a very good sales man, I have more freetime than I know what to do with so I do actually watch him. Sometimes it is useful to get an idea of what a headphone looks like and how it's handled and the stock cable, same for source gear. For example I learned about that sennheiser game amp/dsp/dac from his most recent video. I'd probably get one if I were into shootan games.
That is a major concern, I keep a spare closed back for when I want to watch porn with sound on, almost always just mute videos though.

you should tell your mom to stop sitting on your mail before she gives it to you

Are they any good? Only indo user seems to love the HD660S around here.

>Only indo user seems to love the HD660S around here.
l m a o of course he does

Attached: 2713670.jpg.png (390x470, 19K)

lmao its funny because you're saying that his mom sat on it and it looks destroyed so that implies shes fat and it turned out that way instead of it being beat up from shipment like the guy originally said lmaoo

Any speakers fans around?

Acquaintance is offering new Genelec M030s for $725. Would that be a good replacement for JBL LSR305s in a small room? Already have a sub.

Is this a M40x? How do they compare with each other?

Lads, ATH-R70X, HD600 or HD6XX?

r70x

Definitely go for the HD600 meme, so that you'll have a good reference from now on.
The others aren't as neutral.

which do you think is better between the 6XX and 660 ?

ok so if i have some shitty schiit stack which part to replace first? the trashy dac or amp? and what are the next best options that are like, lets say double the price.

Topping D50 + THX amp

U there user? I filled just ONE driver per side, don't close both (like my picture) They will sound muffled, I still manage to unglue it.
The sound is amazing now, I can't believe all the bass that flows and there's no harshness or simbilance! However you do need the right tips for you. Im using a rubber tip from vsonic, a simple tip, nothing more, I can't stop listening to it now, want a change!
I put a instant glue (don't know how it's called over there) on the hole, then a really small ball of paper

Attached: Screenshot_20180418-174023~2.png (1080x774, 1001K)

Unless you have specific problems or special needs, just use the stack. The amp's fine, and the dac's problems are overblown and inaudible.

I say this as a Audio GD user, but I upgraded because I wanted pre-amp functionality without removing the phones. Sound's pretty much the same.

Don't fall for FOTM

I need more time to give anything of any use but early impressions are that it's just a little better overall. I don't know if it's $300 better but these headphones last for like 20 years so to me if its only slightly better the price is still worth it.
The tonality is just perfect like you could listen to them for the rest of your life. It's a bit better in like how it handles positions of sounds too.
I need to sit down for a few hours and like really A to B them.

There's plenty of HD600 + HD650 review/comparison videos on youtube. Why not give them a try?

I fell for the KZ ATE meme. I'd an HD 681 before and it sounded better but the lacking in comfort was destroying my ears.

This In-ear doesn't deserve half of the hype it's get. Stay away from it, anons.

Attached: 42232202.jpg (620x400, 94K)

Why do you keep wasting everyone's time?

They're more than fine. Keep if you aren't experiencing issues.

>Unless you have specific problems
i have a bunch of music that has some scratchy passages but they are also present on some other headphones that arent connected to the dac/amp. its driving me mad.

>Why do you keep wasting everyone's time?
What do you mean by this ?

Yeah, that sounds like a problem with the music, not the Schitt Stack. Bad mp3s maybe?

no, most of it was 24bit flac files.
