there have been a lot of people with names ever since I came here (late last year, earliest post I remember making that I could find in the archives was in january, so just as a reference for my frame of reference)
also people just seem to actually like namefrens on here as opposed to other boards. /vp/ used to be my home board and they hate ALL names and trips enough that it derails threads, and /vr/ only has one nameposter period as far as I can tell. (of course /vr/ might be a bad example as basically all of them are >40 and not indicative of the rest of Jow Forums but whatever)
