fuck off Jesus
this
All of them. Only idiots don't like systemd.
Devuan
Sounds like someone's wife's son
who
The God's son?
yes, I believe in Jesus (or Joshua, if you use his non-greek name), too.
I'd try antiX, PCLinuxOS, Archbang, and maybe Artix.
You seriously think you being an idiot can maintain init scripts?
Void if you read their wiki page on how to use runit and make "local install".
It will result in a ready to use environment.
That mode basically copies your live ISO to the machine. Just chose appropriate ISO like cinnamon or xfce.
void
you seriously think that init scripts need to be maintained by the end user? thats why we have package maintainers
What a stupid idea, everything that relies on logind would be broken.
Don't give advice if you don't know what the fuck you are talking about.
Well, if he wants to make his own services...

PClinuxOS
>everything that relies on logind
So, nothing?
>Don't give advice if you don't know what the fuck you are talking about.
Well, I know something as it's my main distro for 2+ years now.
best to just use systemd at this point
there's no going back to rc scripts
you'll waste a lot of time "learning" linux if you choose an antiquated distribution.
if you don't care about your init then why bother fighting systemd. it's going to work best, even for brainlets
keked audibly
You can't know how any modern auth system works if you haven't used systemd, a bunch of broken cobbled shit ontop of runit lol.
except systemd has had a long history of poor programming practice, incompetent leadership, and serious bugs and security holes
CloverOS
Why is this tripfag so abhorrent
There won't be logind dependent packages is a non-systemd system, as logind is part of systemd. I don't even use Void but I'll just assume they won't even package software that has hard depends on it.
They will still package it, it will just be missing functionality, dbus and consolekit are pretty much tied into logind now.
unironically the Jow Forums distro, whatever its called, clover or some shit
it's gentoo which has the best and most well-integrated init-style system and from what I am told has a baseline system image which doesn't need to be manually built and configured. This, or any gentoo-derivative that does something similar
Since you are an idiot use Void, Non-idiots can use Artix, and if you have autism use Gentoo.
>You can't know how any modern auth system works if you haven't used systemd
I did. I switched to void because of ridiculous systemd bugs.
There will be no problems you are implying.
I've seen many way worse devs than pottering
also, what seems to be the problem here? breakneck development speed, replacing and modulating maintained services, responding to bug reports and fixing them promptly.
sounds like a win
>Non-idiots can use Artix
PM that fails at particular updates is truly an instrument for geniuses.
>what is elogind
>I've seen many way worse devs than pottering
non-sequitir
>responding to bug reports and fixing them promptly
marking them "not a bug" isnt a fix
dbus and consolekit work just fine on openrc.
Linux mint, then type in sudo apt-get remove systemd
OpenRC uses logind.
Openrc is not dependent on logind retard.
Gentoo is about choice, not dependence.
You can choose to have a broken system if you want to. The support for logind is entirely optional and you can be entirely retarded if you choose.
>This tripfag talking about what's retarded and what's not
Nice backpedaling. Regardless, you are still wrong. Openrc does not use logind.
typing with one hand while scratching my balls with the other hand
The easiest way to use a BSD.
Windows
antiX and MX Linux
Become a non idiot and then install gentoo
Devuan, just werks
