entire images is one thing, you don't need to reprocess every new frame because the brain already knows it, you need to process only new motions, so you can assume a 144hz monitor with a matching gpu can give you more smoothness and it's not a placebo. I switched to a 144hz monitor a few years ago. I sometimes regret it. Not because there's no difference, but because there IS. I tried for months to go back to a 60hz monitor... I just couldn't do it. Is it even possible? Has anyone here done it?
