I'm still using Google services, but less so than in the past. You would have to be willing to give up conveniences to be free.

I switched to Yandex

I didn't, in fact I might be getting a job soon as a google suite admin for a start up company

I stopped using my Google account but I still use their search. Everything else has good alternatives... except the search engine. I've tried searx, Quant, ixquick, you name it. None are as good as Google Search.

I've just accepted that my searches are being logged by Google and there's nothing I can do to avoid it. Though I'm often on a VPN so it helps anonymise it a bit.

>commie shit

>Russian botnet > Google botnet?

I embrace my Google botnet presence.

I love Yandex. You should try it! (:

t. putin

I didn't, I embraced it. But it doesn't get info of me that I wouldn't be comfortable with everybody around me knowing.

Using tor+VPN for private stuff like porn searches, which I do with Bing anyway.

Come on, just give it a try. You'll love it, i promise!

Switched begrudgingly from android to iOS, switched from google to Bing, or Startpage, switched from Firefox and chrome to Vivaldi, Waterfox, or opera, deleted my Facebook, and still migrating usage of my gmail off to other mail services before I finally delete it too.
Still looking for a mail provider that *actually* respects privacy (aka not proton mail) and isn’t gay or unprofessional (aka cock.li, etc)

I don't use yandex as a daily driver, but have to say, their reverse image search shits on anything available in market right now.

by not posting on Jow Forums

Someone completely ditching Google would send off a redflag.

Picture this.

99.99% of people on the planet uses water. The remaining percent refuses to use water. HMM. DEFINITELY NOT SUSPICIOUS.

Like, you have to be a complete fucking idiot to completely separate yourself from modern conveniences. NSA/FBI/CIA are going to monitor you like a hawk.

Ikr, image searching in gereral, Yandex rulez!

how is that demonstration of how amazing yandex is when even bing can do it??

No image search is perfect. SauceNAO and IQDB are much better at what they do than general image search utilities

>american botnet
>trash UI
eww :(
Also can bing do this?

I'm just a Yandex user (:

...

>every single site pulls data from google cdn
You can't escape it anymore.

umatrix

>site no longer works

brainlet

Prove me wrong

You're that Yandex shill that pops up every time it's mentioned.

What made you believe this about me? :(

what is wrong with protonmail? give me legit reasons, because it looks like to only option for me.

The you open umatrix once, enable stuff you need, done. Or enjoy being spied on.

you never fail to mention how great it's image search is

>enable scripts from google servers
>How did you escape the Google botnet?

But it is great! Second to none!

literally nothing, it's just Jow Forums being petty.
while it's true that ProtonMail could modify their JavaScript code to decrypt your data, it couldn't happen silently

StartMail is breddy gud. Assuming you trust StartPage for privacy anyway. IF you use Windows and Bing you might as well use outlook.

You're beyond retarded, right? Ofc you don't allow google domains.

>you don't allow google domains
>every single site pulls data from google cdn
>site no longer works

Please stop, it hurts.

I didn't and most who claim they have are delusional.

>oh noes I was proven wrong
Thanks for playing.

Why would I do that?
>say goodnight to my google home speaker
>tells me tommorows weather
>turns off all the lights in my room and shuts off my PC
>asks me what time to set my alarm for >starts playing my comfy classical music playlist
>good morning
>turns on my lights
>tells me the weather again as well as if there's traffic on my way to work and my pending reminders
>starts playing my favorite daily podcast
I've honestly not found a service more convenient than this

>user fell for the home assistant meme

Fuck off shill.

>open the thread
>check qblockorigin
>connected to gstatic and google
KEK, there's no escape.

Use this yacy.net/en/index.html

>everyone who uses services I don't like is a shill

10/10 logical thinking user

No nigga. JUST USE UMATRIX AND ENABLE GOOGLE DOMAINS, done! Or enjoy being spied on.

You can't escape the Google botnet. There isn't much you can do about it. I only do these:

- No Google services on my phone. Only app on my phone is a browser, which I use rarely.
- No captive portal checker when I connect to WiFi
- All Google IPs and Hosts stripped out from Android source and compiled myself
- Use VPN over Tor using Neighbor's WiFi when I need to use Google Search (rarely)
- Use TorBrowser because it has anti-fingerprinting features (screen resolution, timezone, canvas storage, etc.)
- Google domains are blocked on my main network so I don't accidentally go to Google Search using my home connection
- Disable SafeBrowsing, Search suggestions, etc.
- I don't make friends so Google can't get my phone number from their contact list
- I refuse to communicate with people who use gmail or if they have google servers in their MX records
- Moved to a heavily polluted city so I can walk around wearing a mask, wig, etc that I change daily so if I'm photographed by an Android user, Google doesn't have enough information to identify me
- Give a fake name if I need to go to a hospital so Google can't tie these to my real identity
- Always pay for everything with cash so Google can't buy your shopping records from data brokers

Life has become more meaningful and pleasant when you don't have your privacy compromised 24/7.

Is that really any better?

Yes. Less censorship too.

>fake name hospital
That may be illegal.

Use umatrix, retard.

No, that makes no sense. Unless you have to show a valid ID, you can use fake names anywhere.

I didn't, they provide a great service for free.

I'm not a butthurt MAGApede trumpfaggot, so Google doesn't affect me in any way.

>they provide a great service for free.
And that's there you.re wrong, kiddo.
How do you think google makes money?

They're a publicly traded company, moron. People buy their shares.

They sell premium services like App Engine, Compute Cloud, etc. They make money from the Pixel phones.

They do a lot of things than just search and shit that the average person uses. They sell professional services too. For example, they just revealed recently that they're working with the Pentagon so they can efficiently eliminate terrorists using AI in drones.

TLDR; Google offers free services, paid services and overall makes the world a safer place to live in.

If you are making the implication that google makes money off your data, it's a retarded argument.

My own data costs nothing to me even if google can create value with it, so it is in fact a free service.

All this bitching about google is just overblown by asshurt trump spammers shilling heir political agenda as per usual. Fuck off.

Hospital is one of those situations, its not like McDonald's or Starbucks.

The amount of Google sheeps ITT is disgusting. Y'all waiting for a data breach like on Facebook before you realize that collecting private data on random servers is a bad idea, right?

>le drumphers
I live in Boston. Never met a legit Trump voter and know tons of fellow progressive minded folks who don't like the data mining business model. I think most of the people who complain just don't like the lack of transparency. They don't want their data sold to some shady Putin research company, for example.

Any way I have difficulty believing you follow your rules in your post, so when you get arrested and go to jail, it's your life not mine and you made your choice, so whatever.

I am splitting between my outlook and my iCloud, until I find a viable alternative.
They will delete your account if they don’t like your username

I stopped using my gmail email, I only use it to subscribe to spam and all sorts of shit, that is forwarded somewhere else. So it's still keeping their servers busy. I'll probably do the same with the other gmail accounts that I haven't used for ages.

I also stopped using google search. Switched to the other botnet.

Also stopped using most of their bullshit apps on android. Looking forward to moving to some other OS on the phone eventually.

It's gonna take a while, but eventually I won't be using much if anything from their services.

I gave up facebook like 7 years ago and it was easy. So I have some experience.

A privacy oriented company loses all accreditation with me the moment they involve themselves in petty things like email handles that sit outside their bias or comfort zones. A secure, private channel or service should not discriminate who is allowed to use the service under any circumstances.

Hope to god Ubuntu phone becomes a thing someday

It's not and nor will it ever.

Literally just stop using their shitty browser, stop connecting to your Gaygle account when not needed and use Google search and YouTube in private browsing and use uBlock and NoScript. That's it.

>b-but they log you in private browsing through your I-IP
No they fucking don't. If they did that, I'd be getting YT recommendations that actually suited what I watch (there's just no way a company that greedy wouldn't do it if it actually logged what I did). Not only that, the Google ad page that displays what Google knows about you says nothing about me, so my strat just fucking works. Besides, I'm not a static IP cuck, so the evidence that was me watching muscle worshipping videos 2 months ago is ass-weak, and Gaygle has hundreds of millions of other idiots that are much easier to monitor and milk than me. Monitoring that many people in a less reliable way than by logging what they do while logged in is retarded and not worth the cost of storing additional terabytes of logs one AN algorithm will read once at best.

Google isn't a Disney villain company. It's a company of rich people who'd love to be Disney villains but just don't realize half of their code monkeys are incompetent AA-hires and Colossus is technologically impossible anyway.

I use a Blackberry for phone, Startpage for search, Debian for operating system.

Only thing left on Google is my gmail account since I'v had it since about 2004.

Pic related, the only non-free software on my machine.

No Android app

Slowly move off their services one by one, starting with email. And do something similar to this for the remainder

>The NSA is closely monitoring all the grannies who use some malware search toolbar and AOL mail

>I don't make friends so Google can't get my phone number from their contact list
