Some of my fondest memories were had in that exact spot. That computer was all I had for years, long after it's p4 was out of date. I took it apart and put it back together a few times to learn what each part was and then I reinstalled windows to learn how to do that, then ubuntu, and finally gentoo(yes because of the meme). Gentoo was awesome because it felt like I knew exactly what each part was doing up to the software where I also knew what each was doing having installed the system bit by bit myself.
The internet seemed was more fun back then but I was also young.
Yeah it was comfy as fuck.

Maybe once I'm less blackpilled I'll post pics of my garbage builds.

That does not look very comfortable with the keyboard infront of a corner like that. Speakers and monitors are nice. Wish I had some studio monitors like that. Paintings look good too. I would upgrade your keyboard and maybe mouse.
This camera is like cheating, it looks like you used a dslr or something yet there is already a high end camera sitting on your desk. That monitor looks insane, I would use something like that if I played no vidya. Lightihng looks good. LSR305's are good. Shame about the corsair kb.

Speakers are some edifier PC speakers, those are not studio monitors. Cheaper 2.0 edifier speakers go for as low as $100.

I thought they were that $500 set of swans which aren't really studio monitors they're more for music listeners and movies but yeah I suppose they could be a cheap set of $100 speakers.
Looks good on the desk regardless.

The ones user has go for $150. I have cheaper version of those speakers (no bluetooth) and consider them one of the best bang for buck entry level speakers. They sound decent to me compared to meme jbl lsr 305, and that says a lot.

I just need a CRT setup for NES games desu. I could hook up the CRT to my main setup, but my video card is fucked and doesn't output the color red on the DVI port

Nice desk.

They are edifier R1700s. Nice set of speakers for the money. Very pleased with them after they replaced the z506 5.1 setup I had.

Mines almost identical to the setup pictured.
Basically just a desk with keyboard and mouse and a 40" monitor plus spare.

I guess. Having bought 7 and then the upgrades, I'm not looking back. The grain synth is pretty neato and VST support opens up lots of possibilities. The stock patches for Europa are nice, too, but I didn't really manage to make any interesting patches yet myself.
