Apparently Jow Forums.org crashed recently and ever since the site went back up, images broke for some reason.

Clover Dev is the best, but also Chan Oran looks promising. I'm looking forward to further developments in the future.

Just installed clover Dev. Pretty comfy desu, and with added themes and smoothness.

Chan oran is going to be good once the developer open sources it so people can contribute
It uses the superior kotlin (even if it is just discount Scala)
But he needs to stop worrying about his code being 'presentable' and just open source and let people contribute to get it to feature parity with clover

I installed clover 2.3.1 and it seems worse than whatever version I had previously, and images and thumbnails still won't load. Is there a newer version somewhere?

Galaxy s6, tw has a handy scroll capture tool. Software is still strong on this 2015 phone, but the battery is about what you'd expect.

All people using Jow Forums apps of any kind came from Facebook. That's an undeniable fact.

An update to Clover was pushed, press "Check for updates" in the settings.

Why does the dev version have this strange mechanic where you have to manually enter Jow Forums's URL and then add boards using a strange picker UI that puts the sfw boards first? It's the kind of thing I'd expect from an app that was trying to skirt app store restrictions, but as far as I can see there's no need for Clover to do that (it was removed from the store long ago). Why not just have all the Jow Forums boards, in alphabetical order, by default?

Seems like it's trying to become like dashchan where it's a general chance viewer that you customize to show the Chan's and boards you care about

It's not a major thing, just a strange design decision. Surely the vast majority of Clover users will want Jow Forums. The small number who don't could delete it. The defaults of any software should always be a compromise aimed at the typical user, not a blank slate.

He's doing us a favor because it might keep cancer off Jow Forums hoping that they never find it
