> using sublime text

I hope they never fuck up my vmware keys.
Could care less for sublime.

Dumb fuck stop using proprietary text editors, are you fucking stupid, holy hell, what became to this board

>Oh no! I have been hacked! my computer will explode!!!!!

>....Sublime text reverts back to trial mode.

THIS!!!!!

Never pay for something you use for 8 hours a day just because you like it and makes you more productive.

try that

Who steals a text editor

You wouldn't download a typewriter.

as off 3164 every license on the internet has been disabled for "being shared". there's a patched version for windows but can't test it because i'm not goyim.

the only working license is zinga but it is for sublime 2, although unlocks and lets you evaluate sublime 3

>lets you evaluate sublime 3

Anyone can evaluate Sublime text
Anyone can in fact use Sublime text as much as they like for as long as they like.
You just get a popup occasionally until you choose to buy a license.

the dev version is anal about who can use it

-Sent via a proprietary text editor.

>using sperging vim/emacs or trash electron-based shit like atom

If you don't mind selling your soul to the botnet VS code is actually pretty decent, especially for certain tasks like powershell.

Attached: 12872912.jpg (500x547, 48K)

>or trash electron-based shit
>vs code

vim does not have this problem

sperg all you want, for trash electron-based shit vscode is surprisingly optimised, though i still prefer sublime it really comes down to the packages for specific workflows (plus i don't like the vscode mandatory botnet.)

>Visual DuxDebugger
>Not IDA or x64_dbg
wtf is that.
I mean, it looks fine, but where did you find it?

use notepad++

That was from 2012, before x64_dbg existed (and a total dearth of good 64-bit debuggers)

np++
eat shit

i liked np++ a decade ago when it wasn't dated crap. the only holdouts are brainlets and GPL-obsessed.

I like Sublime Text and don't want to learn how to use vim or emacs.

Buy it you cheapskate.

If you work with software engineering, Sublime Text's price is a tiny tiny fraction of what you'll earn per year, it's completely worth it.

why not just use the unregistered version??

proprietary software in a netshell

>not using notepad++

You Suck!

You suck motherfucking faggot use Notepad++. This little gag is not related, but fuck it.

D-did you just learn HTML or something?

Attached: 1453249045548.jpg (319x317, 17K)

the popup sometimes appears behind the main window and subtly prevents certain keypresses from working properly, eg tabs. for this reason i pirate it

No, but I always run that gag using C++ and I wanted to shake it up a little.
using namespace std;
int main(){
cout

>activate sublime
what?
isn't this a text editor?
why is there a product key?

Can you explain what this picture means?

fixed your image for you

Attached: 1524862199842.png (2660x1325, 951K)

That's a disassembly of the sublime binary. Presumably the function at RIP+0x38431f checks something like whether the license key is correct or whether the program is registered.
Knowing this, you could, e.g., change the CMP instruction to always be true so that it would accept any license key.
I can't say exactly how it would work with just the code in the screenshot.

>netbeans
>eclipse
>notepad++
>emacs

All these exist. Yet some idiots actually pay for literally typing with their computers. Sad!

If Sublime cost closer to $30 I'd buy it, and I'm probably not alone.

I use Sublime to take notes and find it simple enough and better looking than notepad++. Atom looks nice but is heavy / take time to load and I don't really need it's features.
Honestly I want to learn how to use onenote in a more efficient way, as it's probably suit my needs better.

So, is there a crack yet?

Like with any good software, you have to buy it.
all slow garbage

>all slow garbage
that's literally what your mom said last night when I asked her about her kids.

Sublime is the worst editor.
I just hate how it puts '>

Zing!

I never had to buy vim

I can't believe i have to restate this, but it's 2018 and there is no excuse not to use VS Code.

VSC is probably the only decent software based on electron. That being said there are only couple cases where i'd use VSC instead of VS/other IDE or just a simple editor like sublime

Meanwhile, I just don't update Sublime. Works fine for me.

>you installed a program with internet activation, gave it a pirated code, and then allowed it to access the internet

You can disable that functionality, u fucking moron.

Use wine notepad, brainlets.

Why is every editor so shit?
Sublime is nearly okay, apart from the fact that it costs money and isn't opensource.
Atom and VSC are gay.
I don't care about any features at all. Not even Syntax highlighting.
I just don't want to have multiple views into the same textfile, sublimes right-side code preview and search.
Suggestions would be alright too.
What I don't want is to learn 1000s of commands and abstruse key-combinations to use the editor, and/or have an OS ship with it.
Neither do I want everything to run inside the terminal.

Yup, that's a link I will never click

archive.li/q1YYw

microsoft word

acme/sam

I know and like acme, but there are no multiple views into the same file.
I guess I could write a program for that, but then I could just write my own gay ass text-editor.

nano is 10/10. No learning, it just werks, edits text I guess.

Why they've added this shitty functional there in first place?
Nano is the best editor ever made.

>implies most people on Jow Forums earn as much to be able to pay even this fraction

I used to be like you guys.
Stuck between a rock and a hard place.
Proprietary software or Electron bloat.
Then I discovered GNOME Builder. I saw the light.

Why can't Mac just make a screenshot of the current window? Why do they even need to include some transparent shit just so it looks artifically nicer but in fact it just occupies useless space.

>so it looks artifically nicer
You answered your question right there.

They can, but I specifically keep the drop shadow just to let everyone know that I can afford it.

>I can afford it
>cant afford a one-time purchase of a license
literally gets my bones hurting everytime I see these text

>macfag being dumb as shit

Lol, so typical.

I keep it on just to send freetards like you into an autistic fit of rage.

super cringey

Kindly refer to my post at Okay you got me raging there, but Mac users can only be one of these two:

>poor and will buy expensive things to look rich
you know where you are

Works on my machine

Activate with sheared key and then back inferno acres with the windows firewall

Written this on a whim for Windows. Not a proper solution, but at least it closes the nagging window.

Does this mean the CIA license that was leaked on Jow Forums has also been revoked?

OS X's got the best stock screencap setup

Individual screencap for each display
