What case is that and where tf is your power supply

>tfw no longer all amd
switched the 2x fury for a 1070.

>Gigabyte board
I'll give it 2 years at most before the board dies as is the fate of everything they make. Cool build though.
That's a cooler master HAF XB. Listed as a test bench technically. And the power supply is under the motherboard (which is removable btw, installing motherboards and large coolers is a breeze). Cool case but takes up a lot of room due to it's cube-ness
Very nice. How's the X399 chipset treating you? That a 1950X under there? How are your temps? And why ditch the fury xfire? I mean heat and power use aside of course.

Pic is my current main build.

Woooo

Those ram slots... user...

>Very nice. How's the X399 chipset treating you?
no problems. 64gb of ram running at 2933mhz no problems, even though its not on the QVL
>That a 1950X under there? How are your temps?
not too bad. idles around 40C in a room with ambient of 77-80F.
>And why ditch the fury xfire? I mean heat and power use aside of course.
stutter in csgo. also, i got $100 more per card when i sold both, and got a 1070 for $360, so it worked out better financially.

it be what said and he is right, it does take up some room. but its a great case to work with. i keep trying different cases over the years but always come back to it.
>I'll give it 2 years at most before the board dies as is the fate of everything they make. Cool build though.
eh i've used gigabyte boards before in the past. didn't have anymore trouble with them than i did others such as asus and asrock. the only reason why i picked up the 470x gaming 7 instead of keeping my previous x370 crosshair was because the crosshair took a shit on itself :/ used two asrock boards in the past and both had disappearing usb ports randomly on reboots. asus has been bios updates that either killed the board (crosshair at release with the embedded controller frying the board if soc was 1v or higher), made ram unstable, and in the case of my old x99 asus strix board, bios update set auto vcore to 1.5v's and fried my 6850k. gigabyte so far has been unstable bios with one x99 board and x370 gaming 5. though my z97 gigabyte ud5 black was rock solid, z370 gaming 7 when i had my shitty 8700k, and so far my x470 gaming 7 have been solid.

Attached: DSC_0280.jpg (2304x1536, 1.76M)

oh and cannot forget pic related with asus maximus gene z170 that had two sata ports commit suicide within a month. one after another.

Attached: DSC_0894.jpg (4608x3072, 3.61M)

>Crosshair board killing itself
Yea that was a problem with the older BIOS revisions. I'm on BIOS 1002 and it's been Rock solid stable. I've had nothing but heartache with gigabyte. I'd buy an ECS board before a gigabyte. That's me though. Sorry to hear about your issues with Asus.
Very nice. Is the 1950X just for bragging rights? It do you render/encode/etc? I was going to get a TR build myself, but can't justify it. My 1700X performs very well.

bragging rights. i had a 1600x before, and i figured if i can afford it, i might as well. i also now dont have to upgrade anything besides my gpu for a hot minute.

Gotta say the wraith prism is sick looking, popped it on my 1800x itx build to sell since I got a 2700x, and that build looks so clean I don't wanna say goodbye to it.

my z97 ud5 black when i had my 4790k and 390 crossfire house fire build. man i loved the performance of those two 390's but holy balls was the heat insane.

Your amazon review showed more dick sucking for an amd product then i'd thought i'd ever see.

Attached: DSC_0346.jpg (2304x1536, 1.87M)

nice cpu my nigga

Attached: 20180502_184245.jpg (4032x3024, 3.64M)

well how else will i get paid?

Attached: DSC_0285.jpg (2304x1536, 1.54M)

True. But you know you're going to be looking at TR get 3 when it's out.

>Threadripper based on two 7nm 8c16t chips
>16c32t with an out of box boost of 4.8GHz
>With 1:1 infinity fabric scaling
You'll want to upgrade. Even if you don't need to.
>Xfire 390's
I loved mine. Had 2x powercolor r9-390 PCS+ cards. They were monsters. Sold one to a friend for $150 and gave the other to our poor friend for free as a gift. Bought my current EVGA GTX 980Ti Classified

i'm just fucking with ya. Nice build, as an intel person, im very happy with what AMD is doing. everyone has nothing but improvements to gain from the added competition.

I just hope amd wont fuck this up.

thats when that comes out. and if thats indeed what comes out, i will be a day one purchaser.

after all, my vns need a shitload of processing power.

Lol, someone that actually bought that card for WC'in

Where's you pump user? pls don;t say it's external

>I just hope amd wont fuck this up
that's what i keep hoping myself. i never wanted them to go back to:
>pic related
my old faildozer 8350. i'll never understand how they released a whole new generation of processors that had ipc weaker than their old previous ones.

Attached: DSC_0342.jpg (2304x1536, 481K)

OH BUT IT WAS user

Attached: DSC_0336.jpg (2304x1536, 1.63M)

Attached: inside-final1export.jpg (3000x2250, 2.56M)

You could probably get away with putting that inside, maybe putting the cpu in the loop and get a 45/240 in the front too.

Attached: ayy.png (1587x1494, 834K)

>i'll never understand how they released a whole new generation of processors that had ipc weaker than their old previous ones.
Because they tried the exact same thing intel did with netburst: high clocking power hungry designs that required extensive re-coding for them to reach their full potential. The construction cores at least had the advantage over netburst in that they had more than 1 core to use and a somewhat respectable platform.

lmao, those tubes.

Thanks for the chuckle user

Thinking of going all Noctua coolers since these cheap corsair fans are loud as fuck and my CPU gets pretty toasty.

Attached: Guts2Desu.jpg (2016x1134, 569K)

Some of my best work.

How do you keep your cases so clean?

I'm using a leaf blower to clean mine, but it still looks dirty

Attached: 1511662150929.png (892x667, 531K)

just spend the extra money on a better cooler and spin the fans down.

Get you some push-pull going.

oh i could have easily but i was way to lazy when i tried my water cooling meme. when ryzen came out i ended up picking up:
>pic related case
and making a custom loop for it. tbqh i kinda miss that loop. got rid of it because i was an idiot and punctured the rad with a screw driver when i was undoing it to swap out the shitty gaming 5 board with the crosshair.

Attached: DSC_0040.jpg (2304x1536, 1.71M)

Attached: DSC_0041.jpg (2304x1536, 1.77M)

wth the pic keeps getting rotated. i didn't even take the pic at that angel.

Attached: DSC_0120.jpg (1382x1662, 1.77M)

I used to do push-pull but one of the fan mounting brackets that came with the 212 broke so I can only have the one fan.
I've been thinking of the NH-D15 and that'd be why I go full Noctua mode.

so what do you guys do on these colorfully extravagant powerful pc's? Browse Jow Forums?

Nah bruh we browse facebook too.

i masturbate

can you niBBas stop posting 4mb images ?
there are australians that browse this board, think of em'

4chinz doesn't allow anything bigger than 2.5 mb now

>when you are literally retarded
here

n-no you're wrong and dyslexic

10/Zen
Just grabbed a 1440p 144hz monitor, I'm surprised at how well the 1600 and 1060 handle it.

Attached: 5971235.jpg (2957x2553, 1.1M)

That actually looks pretty cool

yeah his build is actually quite nice. the color and lighting scheme is very subtle.

if it wasn;t for those meme fans that'd be a very nice poverty build.

8350 and a 7970.

Trying to hold out for Vega64's price to drop before going Ryzen.

Attached: HunkofJunkMKVI.jpg (2403x960, 404K)

But user, I want to add more meme fans, maybe a D15 perhaps.

Get dust filters on all your fans

Attached: IMG_20180420_064740.jpg (640x480, 38K)

Man it's getting to the point where I honestly just don't think it's possible to route cables in a way that looks good. There has to be some ugly somewhere and a lot of the time you just hide it in the back.

So many AMD computors in this thread!

To-do list for my computors:
cable management

very clean, what do you use for the bowl?

Didn't want to make a thread.

Monitor is Flickering on me, I have two Dell S2716DG running at 1440p 144hz

When watching a video on secondary, video has slowdown, main monitor flickers.

Tried reinstalling video driver and that helped for a bit. Problem only started happening after recent driver updates the other day.

Monitor DOES NOT flicker while gaming on the main monitor and temps and performance are on the second.

Monitor does not flicker when hooked up to another device.

Monitor does not flicker when the secondary is turned off.

So could it be the graphics card? It's only a year and a half old.

Attached: Speccy.jpg (612x515, 64K)

i hope either that was a brand new toilet or a toilet cleaned with about 20 gallons of bleach.

Sup

Attached: IMG_20180503_003344.jpg (2976x3968, 1.21M)

I see 5 possibilities here

>graphics card getting fucked

>intel iGPU driver getting fucked (well known problem that Intel integrated GPU and Nvidia dedicated GPU causing all kinds of fuckery on latest Windows 10 updates (but it seems you have Windows 8 so idk)

>yet another fucked Nvidia driver that fucks everything up

>Dell """""""""""quality control""""""""""""" at work. There have been a lot of Dell monitors whose design has been hardware flawed (random black screens and never coming back until hard reseting computer)

i would try searching online for the keywords that exist in your text, and then also try to search for the specific hardware and see if other people with the same specs also have problemos

its simple the GTx can't handle 2 144p monitors on a GTX 1080 and it can only bearly run one let alone 2.

Upgrade to a titan Volta or remove a monitor.

Switched from a R3 to a FT02. Love the case.

Cool case OP. Too bad you filled it with GARBAGE.

>ERP ready
Intel faggots confirmed sissy gay ERP anime faggots.

Cool gear user, too bad you covered it in lard.

>doesn't understand how dual-channel works

So how do you get all the air out of the loop? I'm not seeing a reservoir, and have always wondered how that works.

It helps the fans spin quieter.

It actually wouldn't.
Covering the blades would make the motor work harder and therefore make more noise.

You don't cover the blades RETARD, you put it in the bearings.

But covered their entire PC in greasy lard...

I have to take a new pic soon, minor changes. But this is how it works.

Attached: guts2.jpg (1603x4845, 1.82M)

There are also kiwis, but they don't allow their govt to get THAT corrupt w.r.t. telecoms.
Organize and fix your shit ffs, you need to put some people against the wall.

How much noise does that Radeon make?

Attached: DSC_0024.jpg (3840x2160, 2.89M)

I was planning on buying 2 more, (if you notice, my heatsink is facing the wrong way so it blocks one of the slots) So I was gonna change it all when I got the other 2 sticks.

I deserve to be laughed at

1600X with a Vega 64.

what brand case fan?

not him, but I'm pretty sure that they are chinese fans (just search for "led ring fan" on your computer store or something (asiahorse, aigo, apevia are common brand names for these chinese fans)
