good job you got a mining virus

it's scripted so it shuts down when the task manager is open

thats what you got when using Windblows

I get the same shit on a clean windows install created with official Microsoft image creation tool.

I think it's just Windows 10 being shit.

your usb controller microcode was infected with an IRQ virus, which probably spread through the kernel and infected your monitor's internal display controller (used for on screen menu for changing hue saturation input source etc...)

you're gonna have to replace your computer, your monitor, and every usb component you have ever connected to it. Also your eyes may have been infected via the photon bus so get them checked.

it's not a virus you retard, there are like 14 scheduled windows tasks that are supposed to run only when the computer is idle, like defragmentation, various updates, integrity checks, even telemetry shit. just disable them from the control panel and you're done.

How to safely transfer files from infected PC to new one?

>see a new wifi network appear close to my flat
>it's a string of numbers and letters
>try to connect to it as it says it's not proteced
>starts connecting
>hear a car engine getting turned
>go to the window
>see a white van speeding away
>go back to pc
>network is gone

use a zip disk but don't use the same drive or forget to checksum from the target computer.

cheeky git

HEY

>webcam light flicks on and off

Agree,

Although it would be good if they set a exemption to continue those processes with only task manager open so you could see what it's doing.

>PC is idle
>HDD led blinks

Hope you smile when they took a photo of you. You dont wanna look grim in the NSA database

Srry, fucked up, wanted to quote

>adobe acrobat reader: 25% cpu usage
>octave: 25% cpu usage
what is this shit?

>Computer is idle
>HDD light is solid on due to the caching
This is the power of Windows? You need 16GB to use a hard drive without thrashing. I have 64 now.

Trusty tape on the camera friendly nsa

holy fuck.....
why? just why are you wangblows cucks act surprised again

Had this happen 2 times about 6 years ago. I was laying in bed and the computer turned on for no reason.

You have a virus. Same thing happened to me. It detects when Task Manager is open.

Get a 3rd party task manager. I used Extended Task Manager, which helped me identify the virus. Removing it was still a pain.

>weird services pop up in task manager
>boot to safe mode
>find all the linked program files and delete them
>keeps coming back
>MBAM, kaspersky toolkit, rootkit checkers, Combofix all show nothing
I bought a new hard drive and started from scratch, didnt even take the chance.

>hard drive
Do you fuckers hate ability to safely delete all data in mere seconds or something?
Maybe you enjoy slow as fuck loading times?

>Typing something, not really paying attention.
>Randon chats pops up.
>Send half a scentence to that person.

and then... they all suddenly stop running when you open task manager?

Well how do you enjoy your 250 GBs?

>hp plugged to ac power?

>supposed to run when the computer's idle
>you open task manager kicking the computer out of idle
>HURR WHY DO IT STOP???

>mouse moves
It's a ghost, gentoo won't save you

Cost to storage ratio - current HDD's have sequential speeds that are as fast/faster than first generation SSD's; current SSHD's have random access times in the same magnitude of early SSD's

Do you speak English motherfucker?

Say slow again, I dare you. I double dare you mother fucker, day slow one more god damn time.

>turn off computer when you leave the office
>it's back on every morning
>the only way to disable it from starting is physically unplugging it when leaving

Its called bitcoin miner malware.
good luck getting rid of that

>subseven.jpg.exe has stopped responding

Dubs wasted on a retard.

you idiots don't know what idling is
regardless if it even was a some form of miner malware what the fuck are you doing opening up shit without putting a condom on

Lol, i am not stupid to store anything in my personal computer. All my stuff is stored in one of my company servers.
