Beyerdynamic DT 240 or ATH-M40x?
hd600
too expensive 4 me
If you are going to get any Beyerhiss headphones then get dt150. Those are also shit but so are all beyerhiss headphones anyway, and dt150 are less shit.
Also, get takstar pro82.
Put aside 10-20$ every week/month until you can afford the hd600. Don’t buy crap
im looking for closed cans though
This is what eventually happens to people who purchase gaming headsets. Don't be a statistic!
Using sr850 with hm5 pads connected to a pc motherboard, is there any point buying Fiio E10K or some alternative dac/amp when the headphones themselves aren't expensive.
Dt240 is most similar to the m50x. Identical fr. I would get the m40 for pad compatibility, can use in line or stick on mic, etc. Or msr7 if you want something a bit nicer
thanks ill get the m40
Looking for in-ear headset with TRRS and a very short cable.
Any recommendations?
what's the deal with shure e215 and are they a good upgrade from soundmagic e10c?
How should headphones be positioned on the head? My dt 990 pros always feel slightly uncomfortable on the headstrap and the plastic part has cracked and chipped.
Oh hey /hpg/
Why bring Jews into this?
Yeah I was wearing them to low
Hehehe
Minor canpicker.com updates:
- Removed JVC S400B (not often available and higher priced than worth)
- Removed Oppo PM-3 (retired headphone, prices too high)
amazon.co.uk
Is this good?
I originally got Sony 330 to also use with my phone while out, but it sits painfully on my ears with my eyeglasses frame
this looks like larger cups, downside being its for the desktop only
i do want a built in mic, because i don't want more spending and retardo cables to trip over
I think I've plateaued.
I got DT1990's about a month back, and now everything above it I look at and think "Eh, nah, I'm good."
that feeling lasts 1-3 years depending on your buypig level
what we need is to have somebody sitting at the Jow Forums servers watching this thread with a shotgun and the second an ip posts any of the words "wireless" "gaming" "surround" or "headset" here they just instantly drive to their house and fucken blow them away on the spot
true, true
but are the headphones good?
Wireless headphones are generally lower quality. Especially gaming headsets. Just pick whatever you like the look of if you're going with a headset. Nobody here is really enthused about them and will offer any advice.
yea sure whatever garbage you want is great everybody thinks so, now get the fuck out of here
>sanding and finishing
>wood
5/10 headphones, 4/10 for the price
>2018
>not using THE SCHIIT
Your marketing is better suited for other sites.
50% of schiit posts are done by paid shills, but the other 50% are done by people who got tricked by the shills and now shill to try and convince themselves that they didn't get ripped off hard
Just found out about it because of a tech youtuber. Real talk, anyone here use it? or should I just get a meme dac from the pastebin?
Where you pull this from?
>pastebin
I meant to say wiki. There's recommended dacs there or somewhere
This hipster shit a joke?
sorry, I don't reply more until I see somebody's setup. setup? include timestamp.
>sorry, I don't reply
heh
setup?
Stay away from Schiit DACs. Pure garbage. Their amps are salvageable, although there are better options for the same prices.

~Source: My gen z ass.
schiit are the absolutely awful, not only shockingly bad value but bad quality control, bad customer service, and bad reliability
t. Super Best Audio Friends
>t.
Hot genz memespeak.
you talk in memes all the time with your shitty gen z talking points, it's one of the reasons I hope you're actually a teenager because being a mental teenager while old is just sad
Thats odd. They are awesome. You might be an outlier. Magni 3 is more than finne
This
Otherwise, you may as well go the extra mile and purchase the HD 650s
nah
>you talk in memes
Explain.
Not an argument O dac shill
Can't tell if new or a marketer.
stop recommending people the HD600
nothing you posted is an argument either, retard
how long before they ship?
E-Mu Teak back on massdrop
>wood
>unironically believes there's shills in /hpg/
My guess would be piss drink user. That dude's a fanatic
what's the current chink meme iem?
my kz's are on their last leg
those headphones that literally vibrate with bass like a console controller
KZ ZS10
Shut up stupid whiteboi
takstar meme
>used for all kinds of acoustic instruments
>read: acoustics
>read: the way sound is pleasurably amplified by surfaces and hollow bodies of a certain material
The real problem is
>chinkshit
this is how your kids will look like if you use Sennheiser and Schiit
sennheiser is fine just not the best, schiit is actively bad
>implying anyone here will ever reproduce
If you show some thot Beyers, Fidelios or AKG they will wanna ;)
Oh look, gen z shitposter is also a red ditor! who would guess.
cute
what is the best then
So are you
what anime
Okusama ga Seitokaichou!
>chinkshit
isn't it made in Singapore?
:^)
Go back to white knighting fictional lolis, you pussy.
sorry to tell you this but Singapore is 74% chinks
source: live there, am chink
What?
I could make up some argument now, but to be perfectly honest I simply confused Singapore with Shanghai. E-Mu is a Creative brand though, and I don't know if Creative manufactures in Singapore or China.
>no feet
My bad, I forgot you were incapable of scrolling.
Whats the best amp/dac combo under 200usd.
soon
what model is that

>end up needing to buy different $200 cables for nearly every pair of headpones anyway even if you shop specifically for detachable cable models
how many headphones do you have?
i thought the purpose of detachable shit was so that you can change cable lengths or replace damaged cables
buypig
Not many yet, I'm just trying to think ahead.
Detachable cables are great because when you fuck cable up for whatever reason you can replace it easily. That's it, that's the entire point of detachable cables.
Yeah but wouldn't be it great if you could use any cable on any headphone, too? Like, you know, is commonplace in most other fields of consumer technology?
I made a little extra money flipping AMD stock so I ordered a Schiit Magni 3 and Modi 2. A friend payed off some debt to me with an Amazon Warehouse deal a few weeks ago, got a pair of ATH-AD1000X headphones for $210.
These seem really easy to drive, but my Maximus X Hero has a bit of interference when gaming and a LOT when mining so I decided to get a DAC and amp. Is there anything else I really need?
I also have a Nobsound NS-08E that really does sound nice when it has a clean input. Would I want it before of after the Schiit amp to add in a little of that warm tube sound? Or should I not bother? I don't know much about this stuff really.
>>Would I want it before or after the Schiit amp
You toss that schiit back into the toilet where it belongs.
Are any of the Woo amps worth their price?
