Why do you need updates? It works fine.

if it ain't broken, don't fix it

it just doesn't feel right

same reason why I dropped SumatraPDF... not updated in a long ass time = dead app

February was 2 months ago, not 2 years for fuck's sake. You niggers have no patience at all.

>stable free open source project
>expecting unnecessary updates

Which new features are you in need?

>if no updates, it's bad
that mentality is why there's so many bullshit updates breaking stuff in literally everything these days.

hello i use debian

I unironically lost faith in the devs after they made the program ugly via their aliased taskbar icon, and black/ blue donut steel color scheme. Literally autistic for discarding a functional and modest theme for this low effort bullshit. I'm sure it's remained this way for nearly a year if not more at this point.

I've simply been too uneducated/ lazy to change clients. I really was no on board with the change. I opened up Jow Forums specifically to bitch with everyone else after seeing it.

SumatraPDF is the only reason I have WINE on my machine

No bugs, no need to update.
or are you like being KEKed by new versions like in Chrome by JEW-gle...

What's so good about it that you can't find on other readers?

Oh no, 2 months no updates. and it even doesn't need any...

Is it worth it? muPDF or something is also small.

It's simply achieved perfection. Not like updates are even necessary for bittorrent clients.

Pretentious children who does not understand how software development works.

Stop complaining about something is not needed.

It's an open-source software if you want more updates go make them.

How minimalist is muPDF? Does it support bookmarks and vi keys?

The keybinds are quite vim-like, yes. 12g = go to page 12 and some more stuff.

No bookmarks though, it's too minimalist for that. You would have to pick another viewer for that.

kys

i love the rss integration, but it won't darn seed.
and it was really irritating that every 4.0.x update kept breaking my rss settings every week.

>Idiots have anxieties because no change was made in the program they got used to
what the fuck is wrong with this world

It's a kind of psychological training of consumer minds, done by corporations. Mostly it boils down to the consumers eventually going "eh, it's a waste of time, energy, and money complaining about all these updates we don't want, so we'll just get our shit done while they rape our data". This mentality "justifies" corporate arguments as to why they change things so often; "see, consumers demand it!" And so many anons on this site fear and distrust the government, when the corporations have long been the real fox-in-the-henhouse.

>literally NO UPDATES since May '17

it's dead in the mud, isn't it, lads? rip...

You stupid son of a beach, why not use mupdf?

If software was updated 10 years ago but still works very good why dont use it?

i wish they'd fix the icon it's r ugly and jagged on windows. not everyone uses svg icons

You dont need to use svg icons as long as you don't use them.

*as long as you dont scale them bmp icons are far better!

It's shit don't use it

>people ITT saying it's perfect and doesn't need updates
4.0 is garbage, there's actually a lot to fix with it, I had to revert to 3.3.16 because it would stutter and freeze all the time and there's many other people having the same problem. So it's certainly not perfect

>but it won't darn seed.
Seeding works fine. Almost 100GB since I started it not long ago.

But Deluge is unironically obsolete.

Because it depends on libtorrent, which is updated. You have to keep up. Also, there are thousands of issues in the bug tracker and very few devs contributing. It took month to path the buggy 4.0 release. 4.0 still cannot handle missing files; if you start the client and files are missing, it will start redownloading them instead of realizing they're gone, and if you restart client with files back in place, you have to force recheck for some reason.
>github.com/qbittorrent/qBittorrent/issues/8543
It's unusable.

its not their fault your computer is a piece of shit

Donate to them you fucking faggot if you want updates . God i hate people who expect others do to a job for free AND FAST ! Shut your god damn mouth and wait

Hahaha

what the fuck is wrong with it you retarded piece of shit

fpbp

>NO UPDATES
you fucking autist

Is there any non-shit torrent client with active development?

qbittorrent

>non-shit

yes, non-shit

do you have brain damage or why is it so hard for you to understand my answer based on your stupid question?

Pos randomly stopped working for me so I switched to transmission and deluge

it didn't randomly stop working, and nobody uses two torrent clients

in other words, you are lying

deluge owner, is that you?

Because qbittorrent is shit. Maybe it's fine for you casual public tracker hit and runner leeches but it's awful for any serious usage

prove it

github.com/qbittorrent/qBittorrent/issues/8022
it's a common problem. now hang yourself

If it isn't broken, don't fix it.

I'm on Windows. All torrents are set to seed indefinitely, but instead I got nothing, even forcing to resume won't work or setting seed proportion to NONE, or to use global settings with 0 (= unlimited) option.

Based MacOS HiDPI!

Loonixfags and winpajeets BTFO!

Meanwhile on uTorrent 2.2.1...

How so?

>PDF reader
>it reads PDFs
Literally what could they update about it?

you sound like a real stupid mother fucker

this troll only works when it hasnt been updated for a year or more.

why do people use qbtorrent? just use transmission you fucking idiots.

it's available for windows

Attached: Screenshot from 2018-05-03 19-47-26.png (1366x768, 223K)

>it's available for windows

It's a buggy "preview release" so I wouldn't recommend it.

Latest commit was three days ago. Just compile from git if you're so autistic.

What's better about it?

>tfw have to change version number and add some bloat straight from /dev/urandom in my shit every couple weeks to make autistic retards like you use it

Attached: 3.jpg (1024x683, 57K)

It's vulnerable and some private trackers are blocking it now.

Changelog: bug fixes :^)

executable semi-frequently (but not every time) hangs on exit and needs to killed

Removed some bugs. Replaced with new bugs.

>It's vulnerable
Nope.

>some private trackers are blocking it now.
Nobody relevant. OT has never allowed it since it's run by a freetard.

>Nope.
Remote code execution
bugs.chromium.org/p/project-zero/issues/detail?id=1524

>3.x
Didn't they teach you numbers in kindergarten?

Private trackers are still blocking all versions, it pushed me to qbitorrent which I now prefer

*tips*

Post stats.

Just as I thought. You don't even torrent and you're in here making shit up just to shill qBittorrent. Care to explain your mental malfunction?

Some people don't live in threads, emp is blocking it at least

torrentinvites.org/f31/empornium-news-information-utorrent-transmission-386323/
>Empornium News Information on uTorrent (and Transmission)
>Due to the recently discovered security vulnerability affecting uTorrent we are no longer going to allow uTorrent 3.0 or above starting on the 5th of March. Older versions of uTorrent may no longer be allowed at a future date.

Proof that they've since blacklisted it?

Alright I skimmed through it, thought they were banning all versions oh well

Every tracker said they might, because they might ban any version of any client if there's a potential threat. But then it came out that 2.2.1 and below weren't affected, so they stayed whitelisted just like every other client without any known issues.

>Using a libtorrent-rasterbar client

Transmission works fine on my machine.

Attached: transmission.png (1435x805, 145K)

Shit computers are common. Like you.

...

github.com/qbittorrent/qBittorrent
Last commit was 3 days ago, they're probably working on a major version or something.

>use transmission
github.com/transmission/transmission/issues/597
github.com/transmission/transmission/pull/540
>2018
>transmission devs don't allow you to download what pieces you want how you want
Great client.

Who?

>github.com/transmission/transmission/pull/540
that empty pr is some glorious troll now that it achieved merged status.

Attached: BaitHello.jpg (200x200, 5K)

I still use this brilliant piece of software, despite no updates since 2010

Attached: file.png (686x524, 63K)

Autistic retard

Give it the ability to enter forms and it would be perfect

it's a PDF reader, not a PDF form filler you turbonerd

>Not using transmission
what's your excuse user?

Uploaderate limitations still don't work. This annoying bug is still not fixed since month.

Everyother PDF reader has this functionality. Now I need 2 programs to do basic PDF shit.

I don't want that bloat
fuck off

>Patch notes:
>Increased performance
It's just a dopamine rush, lads. Nothing personal.

So you install 2 programs instead of one. Good idea!

Only one, because I don't need form filling

What a fucking idiot.

wiki.vuze.com/w/Sequential_downloading_is_bad

I don't give a fuck, I want my shit downloaded how I want it

Enjoy your slow downloads.
