I still have an EeePC 1000HE knocking about. It was great value for money, especially when I used it to get into Linux for the first time.

Now I have an HP Stream 13 and I'd argue that cloudbooks are the new netbook. Love it to death.

it's a GPD pocket but it seems like a pain in the ass for long typing sessions, just get a cheap ass 10 incher with a good battery
