If you ever actually worked in tech you would hate Windows 7 as much as a normal person. If you were technically literate in any sense you'd be able to mitigate most if not all problems with Windows 10. If you weren't a man child who needs video games you'd use Linux/hackintosh as your personal consumer OS and keep Windows / Linux / MacOs for work depending on your field

Windows 7 is beyond useless. It's dangerously bad and you should feel bad for wanting it.

Ideally, we'll all have our workarounds in place before the 2020 falling away. That's why I'm busy trying out different Linux distros, and I think ultimately windows will only be a VM thing I'll be using for a few things that require windows to work.
It's gonna be some work, but I think it's worth it.

You have an invalid argument. Video games aren't the problem, it's up to the person, if they enjoy a nice pass time when there seems to be nothing else to do then they can go and enjoy a video game, if the person dwells within them as if it has taken over there lives then there is a problem. Most of my successful married friends with real jobs unwind with vidya when they get home. A few even play together. Either way, they all play more games than I do, a NEET. Because NEETs don't usually have energy or motivation to do things.

There are a few cases where it's okay physical jobs where gaming is rest- but if you work a pc job it's supoptimal to put more hours in with gaming.
The real failure however is: Many people need windows programs outside gaming. Running 7 in a VM is still better than 10.
