a Quad would probably make a pretty kickass poorfag Talos with ATI graphics, still think 10.4 is the better deal though, software's so easy to get and there's still a lot of targeted development like TenFourFox that specifically optimizes for these kinds of systems
but I've never really tried a Linux or BSD on one of these, might be a good use for the lower end 2 GHz DC I replaced with this one

Yes, I know. I wanted to have windows 8.1 alongside Debian, but I used the .exe installer. It shat my fuck up with legacy and uefi booting. Kubuntu after that, Ubuntu+unity after that, Ubuntu uefi booting after that. I wanted compatibility for most of my favorite applications, so I had to switch. Now I would love to run Ubuntu once again, with the all mighty XFCE DE.
