Logan was always a complete moron who didn't understand the first thing about computers.

Logan was alright to listen to when he had Wendell to reign him in, without that he doesn't have anyone to stop him from acting like a complete manchild and it's unwatchable.

He was absolutely necessary in providing both a general outline to the topics discussed, comic relief, community building, as well as forging the general aesthetic and artistic aspects for the show.
He is a much more charismatic persona and a much better face for the channel, but on his own, he makes an a**hat out of himself.
He needs someone like Wendel to chime in and both detail certain topics in their videos, as well as keep his overall interests and tendencies in check.
It is also worth mentioning that their working together, attracted a lot of people who would have otherwise never met and learned from each other.
Due to Logan's appeal, they were actively making it respectable for gamer types, who identified with TS, to want to learn and seek out the world of Linux and DIY hacker culture.

The problem was that Logan had no fucking clue what he was talking about. He knows nothing about computers except the stuff you can read on the back of a graphics card box and what was in the reviewer's guides.
Neither did their "networking expert" Qain.

During this time Logan moved to portland and because of this they weren't able to make the content by the time they said. I think this caused a bunch of frustration and friction between the two and probably frankly an issue about money and how it was being spent. There were also persistent issues with channel direction, wendell wanting to be more hardcore tech/linux type crowd

Wrong... Tldr... Logan fired the community manager Rebecca(?) (I forgot her name). She handled the patron money so it goes into the business account and other epicpants.com business expenses. The community forums and Patrons were wondering where the uploads were, it got so bad that Logan just banned people from the forums. Logan shilled epicpants.com hard and more sponsored content making it seem like they were broke even though they were receiving thousands of dollars per month via patrons. Eventually Wendell made a post about he doesn't know what is happening with money and that he gives expense reports to Logan. Quain was pissed that Pistol (and Logan) was treating him like a distance employee instead of a business partner (even tho he moved to the west coast to work on the new studio and help) so Quain just left back to the east coast after Logan kept at him wanting him to make sponsored content solo.

In the middle of this Pistol (Logan's trans girlfriend) began attacking community members and Quain on discord and acting like a high and mighty cunt. Previous to everything going down she had post about new fur coats product. She then got around to blaming Wendell for taking money for the content he made. The community was angry that Wendell seemed like the only person making things happen other the rare WASD show (where Pistol was acting like she was too cool and just vaped throughout the whole episodes). Then as more content slowly came out Wendell was missing and his name was not to be spoken on the show (even edited out of videos (literally no joke like Wendell was Trotsky and Logan was Stalin).)

Things began to spiral out of control when Logan began banning mods and eventually he FUCKING BANNED Wendell. Comments flooded YouTube and Twitter demanding answers about when is happening. Around this time Logan said "I'm Steve Jobs now." Wendell made a bunch of tweets about how he is 30% owner of Tek Syndicate and how money was being withdrawn from the business account when he withdrew his business expenses. He then revealed that TekSyndicate had over $100k saved from The LAN and patrons and that they were making record income even though Logan made it seem like they were on their last legs. Soon after that Logan fucked something up with the site's DNS SHUTTING IT DOWN.

While all this was going on Pistol was on Discord saying Wendell took their money and that he wasn't an owner and that all the money was theirs. She said Quain was lazy and didn't help them with the move (even tho he was building the entire server rack while working on a sponsored vending machine.) The bitch was going nuts on discord no joke. Quain changed his Twitter picture to a pissed off lemon. I lol'ed.

Things settled down for a while once Pistol was told by Logan to shut her trap because she is making them (Pistol and Logan) look guilty of wire fraud.
Wendell and Logan come to an agreement to split the company giving him the Hardware, Linux, and Enterprise channel and the community forums.
