That's pretty cool to be honest, would buy it for my grandma if she didn't have a note8 already

Here's my contribution, the fitbit charger. Like smartphones never existed

>I tried banging the item on a hard surface
The absolute state of normies

$500 spent to MAKE A GROCERY LIST

I can accomplish the same thing armed with my Moto E4 Plus and a note-taking app, and that shit cost me less than this thing.

I accomplish the same shit with a pen and a piece of paper, or simply my memory. Consumer technology is a meme made to enslave people, to be quite honest

What the fuck is this shit ?
Why ?

GRUG BASH GROCERY DEVICE ON HARD SURFACE BUT LIST NO CLEAR

It looks like it was first listed on Amazon on October 2, 2001, so it kind of makes sense considering it came out well before smartphones with good audio recognition.

That said, with pencil and paper being a thing I can only see this being useful for someone with parkinsons or something.

>intuitive AA battery interface

not difficult to understand like those pesky C batteries.

That's percussive maintenance. A tried and true technique.

I have one of those. would recommend!

Fucking top zozzle my man

These were popular pre smartphones

holy heck
what does it do? it's a glorified oscilloscope?

whats the deal with expensive oscilloscopes in the first place?

I'll admit, not very rare but still cool at the time.

>Not in a call

Kinda made me sad. It won't ever be in a call again and probably haven't for literal decades by now.

just guessing from that picture
it's a signal analyzer for labs with equipment that would measure all sorts of shit
basically any measurement output can be compared and analyzed against three others

yeah! but couldnt you do that with an old oscilloscope from some school lab

well, you could monitor an output
and nicer oscilloscopes would probably give you a nice graph after the fact

but that thing will do complex shit like differentials on the fly and export things to be worked with later

I would make the comparison of a simple calculator vs a Ti-99
sure you can get most things done with standard functions but in a serious lab environment throwing around a few hundred thousand dollars will save hours of expensive lab time make peoples lives easier

ah, of course. nice comparison. i'm just in the oscilloscope business because i wanna look at the sounds from my modular

wut

The protocol is standard and I believe there are a few clients that still support it.

>tfw friend in uni won one of these in a contest

Fucking fake engineer faggot

pretty sure that's because you're not supposed to use it while it is charging (but I never owned one first hand so maybe not true...)

How much would you want that thing.
