This. When my phone was 3-4" a 10" tablet made sense. Now I have a 6" phone and a 13" laptop.

I got an used Zenpad Z10 (the Verizon one) for 150$.
2k screen, big battery, run smoothly, only downside is locked bootloader.

just get an iPad, having a full OS on a tablet is pure autism

Tablets are wonky as fuck for home/personal use. Gave mine to my mom after about a year of minor use. They're okay for business.

Yeah, basically. If you want a tablet your options are the Kindle Fire and the iPad.

Beyond that your options are a large phone or a 2-in-1 laptop

Plus laptops come with build in stands, so you can fap with two hands.

You can hardly do shit on amazon products because they're limited to the apps on the amazon appstore. If you're just using it for reading and you only need the apps that they have then it's pretty good

Wow this is so wrong. Posting this from my $25 Amazon fire with Clover as I am torrenting Zodiac from 2007. You can use Google Play and FDroid 100%.

-rooting is simple (on windows [with a chink program])
-comes preinstalled with an f.lux type of app
-fire os is nice if you constantly use amazon shit

-screen reflects like a mirror. hard to use outside
-can't have two apps open at the same time
-if unrooted, ads appear on every wakeup
-amazon fire os requires an amazon account
-firmware updates in the background. disabling requires root

Get a convertible Chromebook. All of them have Google play builted in and you can use them to do actual work instead of consuming media. In fact, HP is releasing the first detachable Chromebook in June.

You take your thumb and pointer and do a reverse pinch maneuver on the screen. It sounds a little complicated but it's not.
