pasta with mushroom sauce.
it was bad
First time making it?
finnbiff every day until I die
Some sort of soup? What's in it? Even in summer?
reindeer stew made with sour cream base, it contains onion, bacon, chanterelle mushrooms, thinly sliced reindeer meat, reindeer stock, thyme and pretty much any root vegetable you want (I use carrots and beets), then you top it with a dollop if lingonberry jam
can be made in 30 minutes and tastes heavenly
usually served with mashed potatoes, but I like to use 50/50 potato/parsley root for the mash, gives it a richer flavor
Hmm reindeer meat is rare here. Sounds very nutritous/good for the winter months.
ayy degenerate
you can substitute it for any type of game meat I wager, I've used both elk and deer with good results, as long as you slice it thinly
It's so fucking good, I've been eating it every single weekend since july and I need to stop because all this sour cream will surely clog my veins
Labskaus. Yummy!
Pizza bites
And vodka jello
Wut? Why me?
based, we love that shit in Norway too
think it's pretty much the same recipe too
also based
Got a pic, fren?
Yum, although I'd prefer the cheese more done/brown
Wow never seen this before
Top tier. Love those chanterelles. As a suggestion the sweet potato makes also a major mash, especially with a puff of white pepper powder on top.
I made lasagna, old pic tho but the same recipe (and the casserole, too). One user at /ck/ asked if I add lasagna bolognese sauce on top with béchamel sauce and the answer is yes, but don't overflood it. You don't want a soggy lasagna but you will like the "baked top" nuance.
Well it's morning here so I made myself some blueberry pancakes with morning sausage and hash brown for breakfast.
Wow, very good breakfast. Is that the usual/standard?
Thanks finnfriend I'll try it out next time. Lasagna looks good!
Sopa de macaco. Uma delicia.
>summer
>norway
They haven't invented summer yet because they don't know how to cook anything but soup.
Nice one, Ching.
Thankieyou :D
Pic related is my Karelian stew (old pic). This is a 3-4 hour project in an oven. Game (whitetail deer I shot and cleaned) and various cheaper parts from pork (well, bacon etc). Carrots and beets. Whole peppers. Bay leafs ofc. Salt.
Meat becomes super tender (à la pulled beef, pulled pork etc), the stock becomes Rich, the flavor is hearty af. Goes with boiled or mashed potatoes.
I made guacamole with a pestle and mortar...
very rude boy

Good for you.
made some salad yesterday
yup my favorite, I love the runny yolk
Salads are boring, friend.
Me too, but sometimes I rather not have it runny.
Made some homemade chicken and rice, was pretty good
Good food.
