Because it's the most cpu intensive thing your shitty thinkpad can deal with.

Where does it say it's a ThinkPad?

dunno but it feels really really comfy to me

biggest mistake of m$ , continual re-workign of the wheel. Nobody knows what the m$ desktop IS. no idea. and it's all over the place.

xfce defined the wheel. it's a wheel. leave it alone. works.

brother?

Neo or Screenfetch please... I need to know that theme... Its so nice!

LIQUID

Because you like it

better question is why is lxqt so much wasted potential? I mean a lightweight qt environment is great but they had to choose the absolute worst programs for their defaults. basically I want it to be kde light not lxde the qt version

there's no tearing on my amd machine m8. stop this meme

gnome3 fag reporting in.
desu xfce looks more comfy. But I am not going to change my desktop again. after coming from unity. Will spend some time with gnome 3 and arch linux first. so far it doesn't seem bad. Looks wise, I really shouldn't care because my laptop screen and specs are shit.

Because it's easy to use and stable

KDE can be light, it just has terrible defaults and bad UI decisions.

You should have tried Ubuntu MATE. It even has a panel layout that resembles Unity (global menu and search included).

it will be more comfy after they finish the migration to Qt.

> Xubuntu 18.04
I've installed this shit on one of my Chinkipads and it breaks EVERY FUCKING TIME that I log-on.
> the power of linux

arch linux is a rolling release and gnome 3 works well with it.

fpbp

mint xfce here, max comfyness.

i like xfce app launcher, background settings stuff and especially the panel + panel addons, but everything else about it kind of sucks

This makes me feel nostalgic and I can't place why at all

>Why is XFCE so comfy?
Because you don't know any better.

extremely uncomfy desu

Tearing is a solved issue in xfwm4 (4.13) from git. Go read the COMPOSITOR readme file on github.
