Can you believe that some anons actually own body pillows? Heh, makes me laugh just thinking about it

What makes a body pillow a body pillow?

are all ""gamer"" headphones useless garbage? astro, corsair, razer, etc

More like trash

Attached: 1525979231935.png (579x368, 196K)

the ones made by "gamer" brands are

This, but argons

When it's a body pillow

yes of course, there are only quality headphones and not quality headphones, if you want real headphones get real ones not ones with shitty gamer branding

Yeah but is it the size only, or the print alone, or the size combined with the print?

I just can't be bothered to have an external microphone

then settle for garbage

sennheiser game one/zero
Beyerdynamic custom game
1MORE spearhead

either one of them or any good headphone that can use a vmoda mic

Would mobile use headphones with an inline mic be any worse than a gaming headset?

Idol trash here. What's your setup like, user?

Attached: 1513663392249.png (1280x720, 760K)

Sorry, I value neutrality and having an actual bass response.

HD600.

Please someone explain the controversy.
Why are they good/bad?

Attached: gettyimages-955767568_master.jpg (810x1215, 188K)

very good but a pain in the ass

HD600. Bottlehead crack. Argons mk3. magni 3 SMSL AD18. Modi 2 uber Hyper x clouds

Attached: 1525981946354.png (367x288, 130K)

>That can use a vmoda mic
Dumb Sennheiser shill

maybe the best but expensive and difficult to use/get

Of course it can.

No you don't, you own HD600s.

>nobass
Said the snapheiser troll.

Attached: 1507151741509.png (1722x1107, 229K)

The ones I heard have a very specific sound flavor. I guess it's a kind of love-it or hate-it thing?

It also needs a special amp and I've heard not as robust as "normal" headphones.

Someday you'll be able to afford something better.

Errr... No

>better than HD600
Such as?

Kek. That treble looks disgusting, as well with that hump of mud, but holy shit, look at that teble

Watch him choose 1k~ headphone to compete with the HD600. Sad.

HD650, as a start.

All true. Basically there's no reason to bother with Stax unless you've exhausted all other options and are hopelessly obsessed with finding yet another flavor of audiophoolery.

Too dark

Attached: 1511232216117.jpg (1280x720, 90K)

whoops, now you just look retarded.
Driver matched.

>darkshit
>midbass hump
>veiled
>lacks kitchentop pattern
>boring grey design

Yeah that's the HD600. You also forgot no driver matching.

>Driver matched to +/-1db
>Smoother treble
>Better build
>Overall a more reliable experience
Dumb anons

Attached: 1522472591627.png (929x647, 92K)

Say it with me. Too. Dark.

Attached: DHjxbjNUwAE7mYS.jpg (978x916, 104K)

wow what a garbage thread. I’m impressed

I liked Etymotic HF5. Will I like ER3SE, XR ? I think they'll be similar.

Are Noble X an expensive meme in comparison ?

The hd600 is too dark

>the HD6x0 fighting begins again

>Driver matched
Proof?

>finally some fucking feet

Attached: 3a9.gif (600x338, 2.97M)

And the outcome is always the same, the HD600 shills get mogged, emasculated, and subordinated. You'd think they'd learn by now.

Unlike the less reliable, HD 600 of course!

Attached: a.png (563x36, 4K)

So no proof. HD600 are driver matched

Attached: 1525412007494.jpg (763x694, 176K)

HD650 is thin and veiled.

By the way 1 dB driver matching is actually pretty mediocre, and a lot of headphones manage an even better match without making it their entire selling point.

Delete this sir.

Such as HD600.

Low fidelity garbage.

Some people just refuse to accept that the HD600 are the most neutral and balanced headphone in the market.

Take away that period and you'd be correct! As of right now, there has been no official, up-to-date statements from Sennheiser that the HD 600 is indeed driver matched

tell me about overpriced shit, like ZMF or Audeze LCDX
i've been sitting on 600s for 2 years, not sure I want anything else, but there must be something worth upgrading to. I wouldn't mind something clearer, I like highs but I'd like to keep them smooth-ish.
NO Stax. Just no.

Sometimes I wonder if the HD600 shills ever get tired of getting constantly BTFO.

That'd be the Shure SRH1840 though

>Low fidelity
But Fertility

You can't afford them anyways, silly HD600 povertyfag.

The quest on finding headphones that are better at anything than HD600 and yet not have a some fatal flaw or another continues.
If they did accept that more bass or less treble or more mids or any other such quick actually means less well balanced and therefore overall worse, then it'd all be very boring. There'd be nothing to talk about.

You are not fooling anyone.

Attached: 1497249337869.jpg (302x222, 50K)

It's hardly a quest to buy a HD650, silly user.

This
HD 600 shills can't even defend their silly lack of driver matching :^)

That and it's so much more affordable than shitters like STAX and what not. Even some people in /hpg/ fell for the "expensive=better" meme.

>lack of driver matching :^
We have all the driver matching the best driver matching folks.

Attached: 1509251730630.png (552x873, 258K)

You know what's even more affordable? The HD6XX. AND it has driver matching.

>he doesn't match his own drivers
Why live, KYS

fucking kaichou

Based
>He has to match his own drivers
Kek, the excuses from this child!

Attached: HD6XX FR.png (600x400, 18K)

Shame about the long ass waiting time on Memedrop.

:^)

I'm sure HD600 owners had to save up a long time to afford HD600s, it's not that bad.

>using the smile with the carat nose

Attached: 1512875460804.png (1024x768, 416K)

>The $100 Grado SR60e is driver matched
How will driver matchlets ever recover?

your post modernism ironic smiling face posting is really tiring, you know

I guess I'll stop when I do :^)

Net worth quiz time.

Attached: 1519538304801.png (1000x569, 431K)

I'm on welfare and my headphones of choice are HD600s. Most neutral headphones of all time! Not that I've heard anything else :)

Idol trash here. What's your headphone/net worth like, user?
>Main headphone: HD600
>Net worth: 2nd group from top.

Attached: 1513743958123.jpg (785x757, 237K)

That'd the be Shure SRH1840 though, user

stax?

I wouldn't know, I've never heard them, just like all the other HD600 anons. But the HD600 is definitely the most neutral headphone ever made.

I can't wait to spend my EBT at KFC, feels great.

I suppose I'd be at the bottom as I am a poor ass student, backed out of buying HD600 yesterday and got a K702 for half the price with a decent DAC.

That's alright. At the very least, you're not underground, with a negative net worth.

the sennshilling is so bad I can't tell if this is a joke or not.

Semi-poorfag. I've only been working full-time for 2 years and a half, and I've put aside ~22k€, saving to go all-in with buying a home, and spending money in reimbursements rather than on rent.

Current headphones on head are Denon AH-D7200, have a few mid-fi on the side, most used headphones are DT1990. My only planned headphones to get now are, in case of an exceptional deal, a HD800 or a Beyer T1 (I won't take at more than a quarter of the price, since I don't feel I need them too much), HD58X I ordered before finding THE headphones I like, Etymotic ER3 (haven't decided which yet) for isolation, Audeze Mobius because they're a lot of what I want in a single pair of headphones, and that's it.

>Blocks you path

Those are very specific plans, how do you even know?

>snaps the headbands with the might of my paws

Anyone tried these? I considered getting them for long airplane rides and they're arguably one of the better looking ones imo

Have my eyes on Beyerdynamic DT-250 or AKG K553. If I do end up using a dedicated headphone amp full-time what would be my best bet at this pricing?

Aren't those studio monitors?

you mean custom studio?

Hopefully not rotting in some savings account, but invested in Index Funds such as QQQ or Vanguard's S&P500.

Because aside from the ER3, and the "in case of exceptional deal break bank", I have the headphones already paid for.

If I hadn't got the DT1990, I'd probably be super enthusiastic about the HD58X by the way, since I never got Senn memes until now because they costed basically twice what other mid-fi headphones costed. But now I think I reached the point where unless I listen to very well mastered records, the headphones will not be the limiting factor, since the frequency response is basically what I want. And as such, I don't really think I need any new headphones which don't offer a novelty.
