I had the same problem as you, I think this dial is one of the few stock dials that has a vaguely sunburst effect.

Yeah, it's my latest mod. The shark mesh was the cheapest one I could find on eBay, it does the job, no complaints. Sizing it was a pain though, you have to remove each row of mesh by cutting it off.

If you're really after a cheaper sector dial then try looking at vintage as I'm not aware of anything else similar that's modern.
