Just opening firefox now uses up almost 1GB

I used Openbox with no DE mainly because I hated all the prepackaged stuff. If I needed anything, I just grabbed it from the repos. Sometimes got messy with dependencies, but it ran smoothly otherwise. Light too.
The thing is, uninstalling shouldn't have to happen. You should at least be able to choose what stuff you get. Not just get a generic host of shit.
