If you've been keeping up with recent events you'd see it's the clear outcome. Kim is being forced to liberalize and will probably follow Deng Xiaoping's footsteps.
Factories like Foxconn are also being forced to adopt more "ethical" working conditions and raise wages. If it's cheaper to outsource to NK, they will.

Other companies like Thailand have already begun to replace China as a cheap place to manufacture things, that doesn't mean China isn't going to lead the 21st century. They're making huge investments in Africa because they're preparing for the future. In America we constantly look backwards, China looks forward.

Exactly, they don't allow gay marriage, their creation myth states that Koreans are genetically superior to everyone else, and they spend a lot of money on the military and military propaganda that is reminiscent of Nazi Germany. Once the housing bubble bursts in China, their economy will be in the shitter. African shit holes won't save them. Plus their long term prospects when they don't support IP law are quite low.
The European Union is collapsing with Brexit, GDPR, debt, etc. The only hope they have is if Britain rejoins and Russia joins the bloc.
Meanwhile America will remain stronk. They will continue to have many trade partners in Asia, and as Latin America develops, the US will invest there and the economy in the western hemisphere will be booming.
