Kurrently running Kubuntu, but the DE keeps krashing/freezing. is there a way to stabilize it without reinstalling Linux? kause I dont wanna go through that hassle again.

It's not complete shit, KDE has a ton of stuff going for it, but it's just not ready imo. I don't want my de to crash or fuck up under normal usage, period. Until Plasma is *actually* stable, if that ever even happens, it'll look nice in someone else's desktop screenshot and that's it.

Materia plasma theme, Latte Dock for both panels (disable shadows and set background to some transparent value), Active Window Control git version, and change spacing value in /usr/share/plasma/plasmoids/org.kde.plasma.private.systemtray to something other than 0, I have 10. Everything else in screenfetch.

I like KDE a lot but i'm currently using ubuntu 18.04 and gnome is pretty good too. I just wish they had support for blur effect like KDE

Been using kubuntu for the past few days. I like it a lot. The only thing I cannot get to work right is Kmail. But thunderbird works fine, so fuck it.

Actually I just installed this today. It's pretty nice so far. I accepted that reordering items in tray WILL crash kde every time but it's been fine aside from that. Krunner is goat.

Opensuse leap if you want the top KDE experience or you can do some popers with OP.

Also screenfetxh doesn't recognize neon for some reason. How should I fix this?

KDE is really nice looking and the base set of applications is pretty good, but it really is an inferior experience to XFCE with a set of minimalist applications. I still use breeze icons because they're nice though.
