This thread is about the appreciation of watches, as well as the micro-engineering and materials engineering that are required to make a fine watch, clock, or other timepiece.
>I would recommend one of the 7C46 tunas This. The 7C46 is found only in the Tunas, has a metal construction with 7 jewels, high torque, dual rate limiters, can be serviced, and it also fills up the entire case. Add the bomb-proof external construction with literal armored shroud, and you get the watch equivalent of an AK47.

For how much do you think I should sell this for? I can't find any other for sale.
I don't mind plastic or cardboard boxes. It's the fancy ones that shit me off when they're included in the price. Just give me the watch in a cheap box and then let me decide if I want to pay extra for a fancy one or not.
Elijah Howard
Really? You reckon that much? More than I expected.
Andrew Stewart
Nice Boktok, user. The black date wheel is a nice touch.
Oliver Lewis
What do you recommend? I don't need a lot of superfluous features and I don't dive, just want a reliable watch that isn't too expensive like what a Leatherman is to multitools. First time I'm posting on Jow Forums.
>t.I don't know guns, I probably barely know watches
Parker Williams
Ask your answers, and we'll see. You probably won't though.
Adam Wood
You want a digital Casio? If small, get a f105w or other illuminator branded one, the backlight on those is a lot better than f91w. a168w for bracelet version. If you want some extra features and ruggedness but don't mind bigger size, cheek out basic g-shocks. Thanks, user. >ask your answers Stop making a joke out of yourself. This shitty meme won't pick up no matter how hard you shill it.
Anthony White
>Stop making a joke out of yourself. Like I said, you probably won't.
Nolan Cook
I'm not him, retard.

Your order has been updated to the following status: Shipped
Same thing in the previous thread. Not sure what happened or when.
Logan Reyes
I would actually be interested. Post more pictures please.

All the pastebins were deleted a few weeks ago. The other two were updated and reuploaded but presumably whoever created the strap pastebin is no longer here to do so. It should really be dropped from the op.
Carson James
Seems like, we should rewrite/update the pastebins.
>MN91/30 >obsolete You're not a very Jow Forums educated man.
Nicholas Lee
>bolt action infantry rifle >not obsolete
Xavier Ortiz
Incorrect. The electroluminescent backlight on the w86 gives it worse contrast than the w217h, and it doesn't have the superior type of resin strap or the springbars the w217h has either.
Everyone here seems to like the really inexpensive casios but imo it's better to spend a bit more and go for a square g-shock. The 5600 is $50-$100 depending on the version and the 5610 is around $150 Still very affordable and will last forever, there are also strap mod's but depending on which one you choose you might not even need to worry about the strap, the whole watch will probably survive a lifetime.
You're an idiot. Please tell us how the M91/30 isn't obsolete.
Daniel Kelly
Is the Seiko SARB035 a meme or is it actually good?
Ayden Anderson
>implying it’s any less lethal because it’s wood and bolt action
Brandon Cooper
>tfw I’d own a nice Rolex datejust or Explorer if I didn’t spend my spare money on hookers over the last three years. I need help /wt/, is anyone here dealing with some addiction?
>/wt/, is anyone here dealing with some addiction? Yes, watches
Ryder Barnes
do people still use mosins for combat? If they do, can they still kill? if those answers are yes, then it's not obsolete. It's very old technology that is still used today in modern day bolt actions.
If you can't afford a rolex by simply saving up some spare-money in a course of a few month's salary, then I think perhaps you're aiming too high. I would consider some of the great watches in a lower price range. Frederique Constant perhaps? I don't know your taste, but sounds to me that you could've spent your savings on something more important, if you're not too well off.
Lucas Rivera
"I have no idea what obsolete means", the post.
Joseph Hernandez
There are people in the world who still use rocks tied to sticks in combat. They are obsolete though
Easton Brooks
It is absolutely not a meme. It has a great reputation, and is by many considered the very best (automatic) watch under $400
Jeremiah Cooper
here is the definition: no longer produced or used; out of date. Please take note of the "or" between produced OR used.
Brody Anderson
>it's not obsolete because some Afghan goat herder still "uses" his Mosin Nagant
Joseph Smith
you guys can argue semantics all day, 91/30's are old rifles and there are a lot better rifles out today. But the same technology is being used for the newest bolts coming out in to the market. Bolts also have their place in the firearm world that semi autos can't fill. But this isn't Jow Forums and I don't expect anyone from Jow Forums to have any clue about firearms.
