Better news: 10nm is a 2020 process.
It's like a better PCH.

SELL SELL SELL

You dumb shit. Im waiting for zen2 or something decent from Intel. Still yet to find a reason to upgrade from my 2600k... Also not locked to botnet wangblows 10.

Might as well use some stinky console and play with 25 fps in 2018.

You can use modern CPUs with win7 though

What the hell is Intel even doing right now.
AMD seems to be blazing ahead fast while Intel has been stuck at 14nm for 4 years now.
And now they're just randomly making a new chipset for Coffee Lake?

Attached: 996660052766.jpg (258x263, 24K)

Are you retarded?

Z370 is 22nm chipset

Intel just migrating to 14nm chipsets this year

Why is that important? Is the chipset relevant to CPU performance?

>unchain
>chain
lol

NOOOOOOOOOOO

Attached: IMG_7392.jpg (1000x807, 773K)

Will they launch 8 core i7 this year?

z170, z270, and z370 are all 14nm chipsets

As far as I recall from Covfefe's launch, Z390 is basically what Covfefe's Z chipset should have been. When Intel rushed out Covfefe to compete with AMD, they couldn't get everything done in time, so at launch they released a Z chipset with fewer features than originally planned and left the full chipset for later (i.e., now).

so in short, whats good about the new motherboard that the current ones don't have?

No they're not. Only the 300 H and B chipsets are 14nm so far. Z370 and the previous ones are still 22nm.

Clueless ignorant retard detected

Only Z390/H370/B360 are 14nm chipset

Z270/Z370 is on older 22nm process

I trolled you haha

A SOCKET CHANGE A YEAR

What is she so excited about?

>directx 12
>drivers
>shitware

you mean, what better than a platform that just EOLed?
welp, it has support.
nice dead platform you bought.

>she

Yes

I mean, she looks like a girl. What is she excited about?

yes.
check motherboard comparison reviews and watch how the same cpu performs differently on different chipsets and even between motherboards that have the same chipset.

>3 socket changes a year, keep the goyim in fear

Attached: 1293641642719.jpg (256x256, 31K)

jewnnovation.

>are my raid keys compatible with this motherboard?

We must go IBM Power 9, amd64 obsolete and can't grow any further.

I'm waiting for Ice Lake

I will just buy Playstation 5 and get over PC.
PC is dead platform for gayming.

>tfw q6600 is still chugging along nicely

>Using outdated garbage that is outperformed by Intel Gemini Lake Pentium Silver J5005 10W CPU using a fraction of the 105W TDP Q6600

TOP KEK

don't care still does everything I need it to

>replace your perfectly good CPU because there are better ones

Halfway there

>no 10nm but here's another new chipset suckers
lul

Q6700 server, P8800 daily.
Feels good to be botnet (IME) free, man.

>people are still enabling le shifty merchant

HAHAHHAHAHHAHAHHAH

good thing I haven't built my pc yet
I might very well switch to amd because intel pumps out new chipsets faster than I change my underwear

Just get whatever is the newest one and stop caring about it for the next 5-7 years.

PC games won't require anything else that PS4 or PS5 can offer anyway.
Doubt that PS5 would use 6 cores as well, most likely they'd get stuck with 4 cores.

oh boy can't wait for that 1% increase in IPC

>Unchain
Meaning there was a chain to begind with.

Fucking kikes!

>Buying a motherboard that only gets 6 months support doesn't matter
Added

>buying (((Intel)))
>ever

she's happy that the resource monitor in the screen shows no svchost.exe

If you really just bought it, you should be within the return window.

>Integrated SDXC controller
About fucking time.

>tfw bought X399 with my Threadripper last year
>now I can update to newest Intel CPU without replacing my MOBO
I'm glad we're finally reaching some standardization on the chipset market

Attached: 1421601689363.jpg (231x244, 16K)

My 2600k i7 is still going strong. Why would I want this?

They added a sound connector, built in card reader and Wifi. Everything else exactly the same. Cannon lake is a re-release.

>Still no native DP 1.4 or HDMI 2.0a
What the actual fuck is Intel's problem? They're the ones that develop the HDCP spec, so why the fuck haven't they implemented HDCP 2.2 in their own chips?

>tfw on x370
>tfw just upgraded my R5 1600 to R7 2700X
>tfw will likely upgrade again to the 3k series

Feels good to be AMD.

ahahahhaha GOOD GOY

Why did you not just buy a Z170.

This 8-core Intel mainstream chip is going to shit on Ryzen+ just like how the 8700k shat on the original Ryzen

Then it will be shat on the 3000 series Ryzen and the cycle continues

Still in boxes, just return to store.

When is it gonna come out ?

2600k still holds up remarkably well for gaming.
Also stop playing games and do something useful with your life.

>intel doing the AMD secret technique
Funny times those.

Or you can play actually good games and get over 300+ fps to the boot.

TOP JEJ

Kaby lake -> wait 7 months -> Z370 Coffee lake - > 7 months again -> Z390 Coffee Lake

KEK

XEON E5450 NIGGAS

>wtf, I can't get this cpu that will allow me to run shit at 415 fps instead of 405 so I'm gonna settle for 30 fps with drops, uneven frame pacing, loading times as long as it would take to terraform mars and paid p2p online!

I always find this train of thought so funny.

>Buying covefe lake
There's your first mistake

>covefe
>coveve

I'll never understand what this implies. It just looks like a failed attempt at making some kind of witty pun.

>he doesn't know
fucking newfag

>Jow Forums doesn't know that you can still use your coffee lake processors in z390 so if you are building new, there is no reason to get a z370.
Z390 will only be needed for 8c16t coffee lake

lol amd 1600x b350, im only gonna upgrade when 7nm and or a new socket comes hahahah

'cuz its going to be a nuclear reactor.

higer price to jew on
|>,

Z370 was a scam board, it's a Kaby Lake refresh chipset that Intel shat out to prevent Ryzen from taking more marketshare. Z390 H370 and B360 are the "real" Coffee Lakr boards. Anyone who bought Z370 was a retard.

>m-muh 5% gains at a 40% inflated price!

Deal with it.

Seems like they are trying to drown their costumers in market segmentation.

>750w psu
why do niggers get this ? is it because of computer illiteracy ?

AHAHAAHAHAHAHHAAAAHAHH

*takes breath*
hahahHHHahahHahaah

>Wanting to buy a PSU with so much headroom it won't start spinning the fan.
>computer illiteracy
> ?

tfw I have enough q9650's to last me a lifetime

Attached: q9650.png (734x488, 76K)

Too bad nobody has hacked together a multi-socket board that will eat these last gen. C2Q.
I have 2x Q9550 that I would love to combine.

Attached: sommercomper.jpg (4576x2048, 1.87M)

Best you can hope for is the Intel Skulltrail board which is dual 77, and those boards are extremely rare. They also must use fully buffered dimms.

I'm waiting for new uarch in 2025

*month

>why do niggers get this ? is it because of computer illiteracy ?
Retard

This. I still have my 3570k

Then buy a fanless unit? Literally how hard was that?

the 390 has literally ZERO upgrade compared to the 270
why you even bother?

>2 more cores
>zero upgrade

dumb?

BUY HIGH SELL LOW

>Attractive female Asian gamer

Are they even trying anymore?

>that
>attractive

Nice shit taste you have.

Attached: DaqLtg3UQAIOCrH.jpg orig.jpg (2000x3000, 655K)

Ever run a 5ghz vishera chip with an overclocked 290x?

That's a spicy vindaloo

No one has commented how much money those are gonna cost. Built-in ac wlan? Bluetooth? 50$ premium right there. My guess is they will be more expensive than x299 "hedt" boards. 300$ is the new 150$.

>dresses like a slut
>suddenly attractive
nope.
