no.2 or die

A Lamy pen made out of steel and a uni Kuru Toga 0.5 pencil

Rotring 600 and a Lamy Safari fountain pen.

Nothing, the very use of a pencil implies I will make mistakes, so I use a pen.

.9mm lead, just feels good to me. cheap mech pencils.

A keyboard. There is no point writing with pencils or pens anymore. You just write and print.

Uni-Ball Roller Fine Point is literally the perfect pen.

Sturdy
Aesthetic
Pleasant to write with
Fine, solid lines without skipping or fading until it completely runs dry
12 for $15

These are good fucking pens.

I grip the pencil like a savage and write with the force of thor's hammer.
The lead is on a spring where it gets pushed into the pencil so that it doesn't snap or tear through the paper. Only downside is that Zebra can't implement this technology with an rotating lead. I would kill for a pencil that had both of the features.

Are there any mech pencils that don't come with an eraser?

Perfect weighting.

>the very use of a pencil implies

The very use of a pencil means jack shit, it’s a pencil not a fashion statement.

Drafting pencils are for precision without ink bleed.

Parker jotter
I also have a Lamy Vista but I haven't been able to acquire ink for a while

Who is this chart for, ants?

wew
my rotring 800 just shit the bed.
>lead breaks inside the lead ejector
>led gets stuck in the lead ejector
>have to deassemble the pencil every time I press the the top of the pencil because lead gets stuck

I dropped like 50 on this pos pencil reeeeeeeeeee

Good pencil > Any fountain pen

Also, rotring is no longer good

dont know what they're called, never bought one, just found them and kept them, but these were nice

kuru toga and a couple of slim ax-gel pencils

give it back devuan

I use either my Rotring 600 or my Kuru Toga, I also have the American Kuru Toga which is more comfortable when I'm writing quickly

Come on man it says V5 in the side

i'm very happy about seeing a post about pencils on Jow Forums

any comments on kuru toga? i have some expectations about it but it's ugly. i also have some lamy but i don't know if i hate or love lamy.

safari fountain is shit imo. if you're interested in gatting a decent and cheap fountain pen try twsbi eco. i don't use drafting pencils but loved rotring as a brand. tikky II may be the most iconic mechanical pencil ever.

i don't know why but zebra isn't known in my country and i really love mini but others looks just average.

nice pencil. wouldn't be my first recommendation but it's decent.

i hate that pencil. it's ugly and made for retarded people. i don't know if there is another pencil that i hate more. heavy, bulky mf piece of shit

this. this is one of the best pencils ever created for daily use. i always carry the green one with myself.

it's a meme

parker vector is the reason why i said "one of the best" above. jotter and vector have similar writing experience and there are most beautiful pencils. it's a shame that they break so easily.

isn't it just rebranded papermate now? when people say rotring i think of tikky and tikky II

pretty much just a standard zebra, does all i need it to

This reminds me I need a new pen. Is it worth getting a more expensive gel pen than the G2?

Signo DX is superior. It may even be cheaper.

Attached: s-l640.jpg (640x385, 16K)

>heavy, bulky mf piece of shit
Handlets, when will they learn?

there is a fucking piece of metal in it so you monkeys can shake it like a retard. it's not only about it's thickness. why would someone shake their pencil instead of using it like a normal person?

I've tried the spinning pen it's a bit unusual desu

.5 graphgear 1000 with 2H lead.

Those cheap 5¢ pens that you can get at nearly every store

Wasting thousands on a pen is autism

i don't know what it's called in english but do you write words in one stroke or more? i write in one stroke and as lead becomes broader i turn my pencil. it may not be suitable for me since it's made for turning between strokes.

Pen Spinning user I summon you.

Pentel Energel 0.5 and Pentel Sharp with 2B 0.7 leads.

It depends on whether I use print or script, and what the letters are. You can't do an x in one stroke.

who /fountainpens/ here?

Attached: 20180514_210055.jpg (4032x2268, 2.93M)

we don't have x in our alphabet. i finally find a positive thing about not having x.

i have never seen this pen in any store but i really want to try it.

I've had 2 of the 0.7mm ones and they are shit. the plastic near the bottom always start breaking apart after some months.
now, this bad boyd here is the real thing

>i don't know what it's called in english
cursive?
>we don't have x in our alphabet.
curious, what alphabet is that?

I have tried to teach myself sütterlin, that alphabet has an X in one stroke.

I've had the pen for about a week now, I love it. Probably the best pen under $20 desu senpai

yes, i meant cursive. thanks. we just call it "el yazısı" which translates to handwriting. my main language is turkish. we also don't have w and q.

it's about 20 usd here. if i can't find it in a office superstore i think i would buy it online.

ten-for-a-dollar mechanical pencils, toss them after the lead runs out

That's what I did, it's completely worth it. Get a few ink cartridges with it too, it only comes with one

I've got the p205 and graphgear 500, both are good in their own right. And I've never had a p205 crack, even after falling to the ground.

Recommend me some all metal heavy-as-fuck mechanical pencil.
I'm waiting.

I used to be up my own asshole about kuru toga and drafting pencils but now I just buy boxes of assorted misprint pencils from ebay. Turns out it really doesn't matter for the shit I do.

I used to write with a Senator 3 Action 3 in 1 0.5mm and/or a Faber Castell Grip Plus 0.7, but nowadays I pretty much only use a fountain pen, a Lamy Studio

Mah man.

are fountain pens smooth or they have that scratchy feel when writing?

Pentel Kerry in 0.7mm. Haven't found a better mechanical pencil.

I write notes in my computers. It's been years since the last time I bought pens and books.
