VPN and privacy

What VPN do you guys recommend as being the most secure? I've heard Mullvad is good per that privacy guy, but I gotta get the Jow Forumsentlmens opinion. Currently use private internet access but I know that's a meme.

Tunnel bear, use the linus tech tips affliate link

lol, don't be mean

Mullvad dude all day

Look into Wireguard too. Mullvad has servers for this new vpn suite

What's wrong with PIA?

nothing concrete, but it's advertised to such an extent that many people feel it is a honeypot.

I use Nord. Was gonna use PIA, but something just didn't seem right about them.

I know that VPN traffic is encrypted and authenticated, but isn't it stupid and suspicious that every fucking IP packet going in or out to your device is coming from a single IP (i.e. the VPN server)?

Tor into VPN

yes. Your ISP knows that you are using a VPN, but the whole point is that it doesn't matter whether or not they know you're using it, because they cannot see/track anything you do online (in theory).

tor on VPN? it's the fucking same thing but slower, your Tor traffic is encrypted again and sent to the VPN server then go to the Tor network from there

Terrible advice.

Id the feds are involved, your VPN will spill
If its a tor exit node that they see, they have nothing to spill, AND your ISP cant see what youre doing
And if your ISP can monitor your traffic, they see youre using tor and can get your exit node, but can see nothing after that
If both of them coop youre probably still fucked

>setaman

rent a vps
pay with crypto
setup your own vpn tunnel
stop being a moron

there should be an obfuscation technique that scrambles your traffic so that you send and receive packets from unsuspicous servers like (google.com, facebook.com, etc..) with your actual traffic (vpn or tor)

but sending and receiving from a single IP the whole day is very suspicous

Do you have an idea about networking?
If yes, do you know that what you propose literally doesnt work on any layer below the application one?

>Do you have an idea about networking?
yes, arrogant retard
> If yes, do you know that what you propose literally doesnt work on any layer below the application one?
really? REALLY? I already use Tor and direct connections at the same time, and packets are going in and out to tor bridges and other servers at the same fucking time, what's the issue here?

you know what, I won't argue more with a retard like you

What's wrong with tunnelbear?

The fact that you use tor bridges doesnt mean you can obfuscate your entry node
You actually dont obfuscate any nodes, you just use other people's computers and/or servers within the tor network, that's how it works
What you are proposing is in fact hiding your entry node, by obfuscating your IP, which can only be done in the application layer or some times in the TCP/UDP layer (that's how MITM) works, but even then your ISP can always see it since it never ever EVER affects the hardware layer
You have either mixed up your idea of how tor works, or never took beginner networking classes

You guys are funny... You don’t want your ISP to spy on you,but you send all your traffic via some random guy, which might do whatever he wants with it. And on top of that his ISP still dumps your traffic. Even if you set your own VPN concentrator somewhere (on VPS or whatever) the ISP there can still see everything you are doing. So, what’s the point then, please enlighten me.

What's the point of any of these VPN's if you can't shitpost on Jow Forums from behind it? I'm looking at getting a VPN soon due to the UK governments retarded new porn laws, but will likely just buy a VPS and install open VPN, that way atleast I have a static IP that shouldn't be banned.

I didn't mean or say any of that, all I asked for is that instead of having 100% traffic to one ip (tor bridge or vpn server), it should be something like 10% scrambled with other unsuspicious yet dummy 90% traffic to ips that resolve to goolge or facebook for example so that ISPs or government doesn't label me as suspicious

Your ISP cant see any information other than the fact that you use a VPN
They have no idea what youre doing by using it
The end computer/server (and everyone that monitors it) knows its a VPN, the VPN knows you're using that very tunnel, and your ISP knows youre using a VPN
that's about all the info there is on you at that time
Sure you can gather a lot of info by real life metadata (ie when you used the VPN) but if the VPN is secure and private (ie KEEPS NO LOGS AND DUMPS THE ONES THAT ARE NECESSARILY CREATED), you're generally good

that's entirely possible (and in fact is quite widely used), I just didnt understand you meant that

>If
>If
>If

is there any software that does that? I could simply make a bash script that repeatedly curl google.com or facebook.com and since that's https it doesn't matter since ISP or whoever monitors me won't understand that it's the same http request over and over again, but I wanted to know if there is already something like that more efficient

Why should I not use PIA anons? It looks really good, and I'm poor. Should I start sucking dick or selling crack for cash or something?

Daily reminder that only pedos and drug dealers use VPNs

I'm not a pedophile I just really like flat chested anime girls.

I use NordVPN. Whatever you go with, check to make sure you're not leaking anything because certain settings in your browser, IPv6, etc. can give you away.
ipx.ac/run

Use any VPN that allows using .ovpn files.

Also this

self-roll with trap rules

People who use VPNs have something to hide, yes. Nothing inherently wrong with that.

Hello FBI

I'm thinking about buying vpn for torrenting.

i use torguard, it's $30/year with coupon and comes with proxies too
i don't trust it, or anything for privacy

use vpns to prevent man in the middle attacks over networks that aren't your own
don't bother for privacy, you can't use the internet and be private

Generally you can rely on the privacy tools recommend ones.

This. Please use clear net.

If you use any form of encryption anywhere, if you close your doors or have walls in your house you probably are either a terrorist, a gangster or a sexual arch-deviant.

I like that narrative. It's communist as fuck but it's actually pushed by the capitalist champions.

There is several occurrence of no-spill that made the news. So no, you're wrong but you can't trust 90% of VPN.
