Are there any text application launchers for GNU/Linux? By text launcher, I mean a terminal line where you can just type the name of a program and open it the same way you would from an actual terminal, except it doesn't keep a terminal window open, it just opens the program. Awesome had this, but I'm using OpenBox now and can't find any packages that do this.

I created the bootable W10 flash drive, but this fucking thing still won't boot correctly into the drive. What am I doing wrong? It boots back up again into the Acer logo with no loading dots.

Dude, enable the boot menu then select the usb during boot.
