musicbee for convenience
foobar2k for customization and it's speedy
musicbee looks great
I still use winamp. Is this a bad idea?
i use it to but it fucks me up sometimes
Agree, I like the look of musicbee, but it's overkill with album art size and options. Foobar feels zippy and light weight but a bit plain jane. I am pretty torn between the two...
it really whips the llamas ass...
On Windows, XMPlay. It plays absolutely anything including obscure tracker formats, simply by dropping DLLs into the folder.
On Linux, Rhythmbox. Because it's the default installed player. If I need to play my Keygen / Cracktro music I use XMP, the eXtended Module Player.
Spotify
>Rhythmbox
is a nice idea but is there a way to use it on windoof
Switched to foobar while waiting for new Winamp. I got it close to what I wanted, but desu I just wanted Winamp. Maybe I'll switch back, because it's been like 5 years. Radionomy pls
ironically mpd + gmpc on PC and M.A.L.P on phone. it's just handy to be able to switch songs and stuff from both my pc and phone and tablet when I'm playing music.
ive used others but they take up too much space and bandwidth
winamp is still the best
tell me wich
>On Windows, XMPlay
Their BASS Library powers so much stuff it's ridiculous. AIMP (which is a better Winamp) uses the BASS library. The BASS library even includes support for old Winamp plugins so if in the extremely rare chance something isn't supported by BASS or a BASS plugin, the winamp one will work.
Except foobar is lighter than winamp and can be as minimalistic as you want it to.
What tech illiterates like you seem to not realize is that winamp is actually bloated as fuck despite it's bare bones UI, it's the main reason why most people dropped it long time ago. Winamp used to be minimalistic at some point, but that's history.
Just use AIMP, it's the spiritual successor to it
This. The only shit not on there is chinese cartoon music and thats it
foobar2k dark one
Can Winamp play opus?
I just use VLC for all my shit. I don't even care any more, man.
foobar2000 and winamp
I've been using winamp ever since stealing music off the internet was that "new" thing.
Kazaa, Limewire = 17 years old now.
Soulseek = 18/19 years old now.
WinMX = 14 years old now.
Bittorrent = 16 years old now.
Winamp = 21 and now legally able to get drunk in the United States years old now.
DeaDBeeF
(plus XMPlay for music in module format)
windows -> foobar2000 + virtual audio cable
linux -> mpd + ncmcpp + snd_aloop
Winamp
