If you have database/server access required to do this, you'd also be able to do much worse things, so it's not happening that way.
Best method would be to infect routers with a piece of software that checks for a source address of servers and then replaces bitstrings for "tr" with " n".
That'd be a bitch to debug from the server/user side too.

It absolutely is possible, but it'll take a while to search through all posts for "tr" and replace it with "n". They'd probably catch it before it finishes and shut down the servers for a little while.
