Dumb son of a bitch, forgot to post the pastebins. You deserve to die.

No thank you. This general is dead.

I can understand not using the botnet known as discord, but what the fuck is wrong with using matrix?

Tru, join rizon #hsg, which is also dead, but we can make it live.

Setting up rrdtool gives me painful headaches.

I've been wanting a odroid too, for assembly coding not homeserver

Does the C2 support VLAN frames (802.1Q or whatever) for routing, or are you using it some other way?

VLANs indeed, works like a charm

Very cool. What sort of software are you using for that? Just the built in Linux routing and IPTables, or some sort of wrapper like the stuff that comes with LEDE? I am currently using PfSense, and I have considered putting something together like yours, but I think I will miss my traffic graphs and web interface.

Everything built-in or simply to get with your package manager
Firewalling and routing is both done by iptables.
I've used PFsense too in a testlab, It works very nicely. I couldn't get it to work for some reason.

You can set up your own graphs with
>rrdtool
Pic related is what I'm wrapping my head around

why is my raid 0 like this??

That is one seriously cool opossum.

Is a P4 Small formfactor Optiplex from the trash usable for a home server?

Depending what you're gonna do, a Rasberry can suffice

I use a pi hooked up to a like 6 external disks loaded with shows and films as a plex media server. Works really well as a home entertainment system controlled with my iphone and streaming with chromecast to tv or just to a laptop in the house.

Better off sacrificing some power and using an Odroid of some kind. P4 is too power/heat inefficient to be worth it.

Bumps.

So far i have a old core2duo Vaio laptop running debian 9 cli with:

Apache web server
Php
Sql
Samba share

Looking at setting up squid next and a personal wiki for the hell of it.

How do i sell my rack server? I'm getting nothing on Cragslist...is there a better site for selling this kind of thing?

>personal wiki
Wouldn't mind some recommendations for one of these from anyone. What do people use?
Know Dokuwiki used to be popular?

my dream would be a git based on, implemented in golang.

just keep trying. ebay might work too.

mediawiki is king and relatively easy to set up

I bought slow 4x4TB for mainly storage use. Am I complete retard for even thinking raid5?
I have a spare ML350 G6 lying around that I could use as a FreeNAS. Would raidz1 be any better in avoiding the pitfalls of raid5? It's pretty loud in my small apartment though. I hear that a bios update should quiet it down by quite a bit, but I have no support contract. Are there any alternative ways to obtain HPE software?

Currently I have no backups, but in the near future I will probably be able to scavenge an LTO6 drive.

>mediawiki
Looks quite outdated, no? Nice clean modern interface would be nice.

What are you trying to sell?

I have a 2012 Mac Mini with a quad core i7 and 16GB RAM. What hypervisor should I install? I've heard ESXi is shit for fan management on Macs, so I'm torn between Hyper-V and Proxmox.

Proxmox unless you want to go enterprise.

Anything I should be aware of setting up a reverse proxy into my homelab?

>Want new home server
>Old AM1 5350 just isn't strong enough
>RAM Prices through the roof
