generally the best brands are european and dont have large marketing budgets

I have some Dyson ball vacuum, but I have been thinking of trying one of the old Electrolux vacuums for the hell of it. Or grabbing one of those Kirby vacuums that had a transmission in them.

also reddit has a series of AMAs with a vacuum cleaner repairman that are actually really good if you're in the market

Miele makes best vacuums. German technology FTW.
Dyson is just rattling sci-fi looking plastic crap.

Also kind of curious about this old Westinghouse T-4 Torpedo, but know nothing about it.

I pull out the regular Vacuum and Carpet cleaner once every 6 months. This thing runs for 1 hour a day while I am at work.

Miele SBAD0 any good?

We're not hardcore vacuum aficionados do a fucking Google search

this is my daily driver

>What vacuum is best
depends entirely on the flooring, pets, if you have stairs, etc

With that said, dysons are shit and roombas are literally meme vacuums that don't clean anything unless your house consists of 100% bare floors.

Kirby is the prince of vacuums.

for how long did you use it? I heard that their cheaper models tent to lose a lot of power

My neighbors hate me whenever I vacuum, but it has a wide 2.5" hose that can also zap up loose paper as well.

I like my Shark vacuum

European here.

Recently bought a new Philips vacuum cleaner for my office.
It's very quiet...but also weak as fuck!
Apparently some stupid EU law banned powerful vacuums so now all we have are cuck suckers.

Fortunately I still have my grandmother's old Miele at home which is >15 years old but still works as if it's new.

that's what you get for living in a socialist shithole

It's actually capitalist: Vacuum manufacturers wanted this law so they can cut costs on expensive motors.

Sebo and Miele for bagless, I don't know about bagged. I was going to get a £120 Miele this year, but I pussied out and got a £60 Vax instead.

Serious question, is aquafilter a meme?

Got one for the lols

Actually really good

Disagree about the roombas. They maintain perfectly well. I said in my earlier post I use a legit vacuum once every 6 months, and there is very little dirt/dust in the canister after I'm done. Run the roomba at least 4 times a week and your good.

I did a bunch of research on vacuums a while back. Apparently the cheaper Mieles are made in China and not as good. I ended up spending $600 on the least expensive of the better ones.

Fight back, Euro. Fight back before your continent is filled with mandated self-driving electrocucksheds and weak vacuums.

Why all new /euro/ vacuums don't succ?
Their power loss is useless, efficiency is still poor.
Anyway, I've seen that they still have succing vacuums in Poland...

Never seen that before. Sounds like a great idea. Not sure how well the idea is executed in practice though.

Why do you need such a powerful assault vacuum?

Dyson's patent on cyclonic separation expired, which is why their ads are shilling battery power and no filters now days

Just find whatever vacuum with a HEPA filter and cyclonic separation at a good price, I bought this thing for like $40

>some stupid EU law banned powerful vacuums
Jesus. Fuck.
>buy a non-government sanctioned vacuum
>arrested for possession of a class A high powered weapon
>buy a spoon from the store
>arrested for carrying a concealed bladed weapon
>turn on the TV
>arrested for not having a license to watch TV
>go for a walk to clear your head
>arrested/macheted for not facing mecca and praising allah

What the fuck is wrong with Europe? Apparently they have sound limits on the cars they make so my Porsche was stuck sounding like some anemic vacuum cleaner until I changed out the exhaust and fabricated my own intake
And it's still quieter than a typical American truck

I don't know, it picks up dog hair really well though

To clean pet hair and parrots feathers.
My 20 old 1500W Samsung just died on me, I've disassembled it, coils were black, bearings are near stallen, so I decided to buy a new one, bought. And? It just makes noise. Nobody sells anything more powerful than 1000W, yet I have no place for shop vac. So I guess I'll have to buy it in Poland, since they don't really care about EU legislation much. They still sell leaded 60/40 solder, and powerful vacuums, and have near zero niggers and muslims.

I guarantee you that new 1000watt vacuums have more suction than old 1500watt vacuums

Except they don't
1000W vacuum has only 200W suction power.
1500W vacuum has 300-500W of suction power.
Efficiency is the same, you can't make them more efficient really.
My old Samsung had 400W @ 1500W input and new only 200W @ 700W input.

>you can't make them more efficient really
lol

I've got this thing, its corded, and its powerful as fuck. Mostly used for kitchen crumbs and debris, and bugs in my home. the tube nozzle flips down for relatively small spots. sometimes I just turn it on to feel how powerful the gyroscopic forces are, i literally could not recommend this model for very tiny people or children because of how powerful the motors feel in your hands. a weak person would fumble around and lose control.

handheld vacs are so handy. I almost wish it was cordless because I have a perma-extension cord in my kitchen now, but i bet the cordless vacs blow

forgot pic.

400W @ 1500W and 400W @ 1400W is negligible difference.
And you really can't make them more efficient, due to limitations of physics of liquids and gas.
If this would be possible - you would be able travel on plane two times cheaper.

I have the same on in black. Found it boxed in my parent's basement with a receipt dating back to 2005
She chooches like no other handheld vaccum I've ever used

you have no place for shop vac? they come in really compact sizes these days. I have one at work thats literally a tool box.

Something battery powered will not deliver 1.5 kW for 20 minutes.

The fuck are you picking up, feces caked on in your carpet every week?

Sligthly related but i bought a new washing machine and the same 40C cotton program takes 3 hours instead of 1 like on the older machines. Turns out the EU lowered the water consumption of washing machines so for similar results they have to work 3 times longer.

Some people use them attached to table saws and shit. It would be annoying as fuck to only have a few minutes of juice.

Do those work if you have stairs?

This is the thread I didn't know I wanted to see in Jow Forums

Then you use an actual shop vac

ok

They don't do the stairs, but they wont fall down them either.

Ancient soviet technology.

Philips vacuum cleaner was always shit. Also 1500W should be enough to clean out your cave.

Kek
Last year I bought a Miele canister vacuum cleaner to replace my ten year old Miele canister vacuum cleaner that was under the hot water cylinder when it leaked, it was a beast, new one is just as great, in fifteen years, hopefully more like thirty+ I'll be replacing it with another Miele canister vacuum cleaner unless they take a dive

>not just picking up balls of fused together hair, dust and cat hair when they start appearing around corners and edges every once in a while
