I have the MegaBoom since a year now, and it's amazing. It's unbreakable, even after a lot of trips with it in extreme places (speleology, urbex etc.)

Go for it

I got UE Boom 2, It's amazing. But I think that JBL Charge sounds better...

I’ve already got a Boom 2. I made the thread mainly to see how it compares to others.
And to get people’s opinions on them.

Charge 3, just because everyone else has them and it's easy to connect multiple charge 3's together for stereo sound.

JBL Flip 4. Just the right size to put in my bike's bottle cage and I don't have worry about it getting wet.

everything I demo'd so far was complete trash

Megaboom is good UNLESS you plan to buy more than one and use them for double up or stereo sound. The Bluetooth connectivity between the main and slave speaker is fucking garbage. Also DO NOT update the firmware. It breaks a lot of stuff and adds noticeable audio delay/desync that is very evident when watching video. I had to downgrade to fix all the bullshit issues that the new firmware introduced and that Logitech refuses to fix. Their customer service is also useless.

ITT: literal niggers

ITP: the edge of a thousand underage b&

We just got the sony ones in at my work. The lights are kinda gay but the sound quality is actually pretty good.

Bose ones suck dick, way too bass heavy and low fidelity.

I think they're an off brand of logitech, it's just cheap shit under a different edgier name so kids like it.

Anker Sport. Surprisingly decent bass response for such a small device.

anker soundcore 2

good stuff

Doss soundbox XL is amazing for the quality of the sound it provides

These look like good wholesome christian speakers. Great for my church podcast!

Almost all of them seem to have digital volume controls with terrible increments. The thing is either too loud or too quiet.

I built my own into an old ammunition box

been searching for bt speaker
purposes:
- take it outdoors sometimes
- take it with me at home when i shower, cook, anything in different rooms
- take it on a camping/drinking trips with my friends

bought doss soundbox xl:
-great sound (bass amazing),
-bit bulky to carry in my backpack,
-not so loud as expected.
things I didnt like:
-no waterproof
-it looks and feel very fragile
- fucking proprietary charger
- retarded chink like bluetooth connection (+very short range)
used it only 6 days because some fucker stole it

got jbl charge, it is very similar in sound terms plus solves all minuses soundbox had (except it is more expensive)

protip: ue sound is worse, they have good marketing like all logitech products (ue is a part of logitech)

if you want to get something cheaper go with anker boost, great sound
