I wanna make the transfer to Linux but I first need distro recomendations that I could mess around with in a VM. Any distro suggestions?

install gentoo

Ubuntu 16.04.4 LTS. It's beginner friendly, has the Unity DE which is underrated and it's stable, compared to other distros. If you are serious though, get "Learn Linux the hard way" and follow along.

install gentoo

Manjaro is Ubuntu but cancer free, more stable and doesn't need to find some obscure repo to install shit.

linux mint cinnamon 64bit is darn comfy and what my grandmother uses

>Unity DE which is underrated

NOPE. GO AWAY MARK

I'm really liking kubuntu 18.04 so far. Plasma 5 is comfy.

install gentoo

or Xubuntu

can't go wrong with ubuntu or some derivative (kubuntu, lubuntu, whatever-ubuntu, mint, etc)

Peppermint or Mint

Get a job
And safe enough money to buy a Macbook Pro which should be your one and only choice, Linux is outdated and you will have to deal with unstable distros and hardware imcompatibility.

I would recommend you stop being a namefag and get a real distro.

Gentoo or Arch

Install Arch
